SALMONDSPEAK FROM THE GUTTER.

A Labour party employee loses his job for abusive language to Alex (FFM) Salmond, so what I hear you ask, politics is rough, you might be right as well, I’m sure Salmond (FFM) can take it because he can certainly dish it out can’t he.

Salmond (FFM) recently described Tony Blair’s family as ‘revolting’ is this the same thing as political knock about ? I think not. I have been involved in politics for approx. 40 + years and I have never abused or insulted anyone’s family nor have my political opponents insulted or abused mine as far as I recall, it just isn’t done.

Salmond has disgraced himself and Scotland and not for the first time, when he decided to have ‘Alex Salmond For First Minister’ put on the ballot paper he marked himself out as a political spiv and was rightly accused of ‘sharp practice’ by the commissioners for it after the election.

With this attack on Blair’s family he shows himself up for the strutting bully that he is, we have possibly 4 yrs. of Salmond (FFM) sneering his way through Scottish politics and dragging the image of Scots. In to the gutter with him, ordinary decent Scots. deserve better.

Labour call me what you like, do not take my money, even the money which is illegal.

"when he decided to have ‘Alex Salmond For First Minister’ put on the ballot paper he marked himself out as a political spiv and was rightly accused of ‘sharp practice’"

Unlike the sharp practices of Dougie Alexander who did his best to rig the election but only succeeded in demonstrating the failure of Scottish education.

Unlike the sharp practices of the leadership campaign in accepting illegal (yes illegal - stuff you can go to prison for) donations form non-registered voters - and then lying about it afterwards.

The gates of Barlinnie await you councillor.

Unlike the snivelling coward that is Grdon Brown. Can't even bring himself to sack ministers for illegal activity. "Don't go Wendy, don't go. If you go the whole hose of cards will come down"

So much for writing a book on courage.

You're scraping the barrel now, you know that wasn't what he meant.

There are times when I feel sorry for you given the abuse you receive from some people on this and other blogs, then you go and do something like this which is really beneath contempt.

Isn't the truth of that story that the Labour guy resigned after getting drunk and abusive at an awards ceremony?

Probably the correct thing to have done after such impropriety.

How's Wendy doing with the illegal donations scandal? You'll be looking forward to hearing what Gordon's told her to say at FMQ no doubt.

Ordinary, decent Scots deserve better

Latest yougov poll results:

1. The SNP has been in government in Scotland for just over 6 months. How do you think the SNP Government has fared so far:

Well: 63%
Badly: 26%
Don't know: 12%

Up from 60% at the last poll

2. Thinking about the performance of Gordon Brown as Prime Minister and Alex Salmond as First Minister of Scotland, which one do you think is doing a better job?

Alex Salmond: 50%
Gordon Brown: 22%
Neither: 21%
Don't know: 7%

3. Thinking about the performances of the political party leaders since the Scottish election in May, who has impressed you most?

Alex Salmond, SNP: 46%
Wendy Alexander, Labour: 10%
Annabel Goldie, Conservative: 9%
Nicol Stephen, Lib Dem: 4%
Don't know: 31%

It seems that the ordinary decent Scots are quite happy with the SNP performance so far.

Apparently 91% of people on the scotsman poll believe that Wendy should go...

Salmond 'ordinary decent Scots deserve better.'

I'm not aware of any financial sleaze accusations attaching to Salmond, so are you saying 'ordinary, decent Scots' deserve Godmother Alexander and her bent Mafia then?

And if Chas Gordon found it necessary to resign as spokesman for lying, do you agree he should have also resigned as MSP?

Jeez tezza, not a comment about those evil nationalists sticking up for uber capitalist Trump's plans to concreat over some beaches in Aberdeen.

Not like you to ignore wacky planning decisions...

From the man who said regarding Margaret Thatcher

"I hope the evil tyrant dies a long slow painful lingering death"

To which he quickly retracted and passed it off as irony and then proceeded to state

"The fact that she will roast in hell is satisfaction enough"

I think that you should take a close look at yourself Terry.

You may or may not have never abused anyone's family but to state state a wish to see someone in infinite pain is surely considerably worse. There is a deep malevolence within you.

It is a good job that you have chosen a profession such as politics as opposed to something like the care of the elderly.

Terry, as Wendy Alexander's election agent, and a member of the Labour party, I don't think you are in any position to be talking about gutters.

(Travis Bickle) 08:37 - I’m glad you agree about Alex (FFM) Salmond.

Cllr Terry Kelly said...

(Travis Bickle) 08:39 - do you think something becomes a fact because say so, and so eloquently too.

Cllr Terry Kelly said...

(Andrew G) 12:49 - I think my version of Alex (FFM) is the right one.

Cllr Terry Kelly said...

(The Incorrigible Plagiarist) 13:21 - you are correct about the Labour guy. Salmond (FFM) was every bit as bad though. I watched FMQ and Wendy did very well, she has the advantage of being cleverer than anyone in the SNP so she doesn’t really need to fear them.

Cllr Terry Kelly said...

(The Incorrigible Plagiarist) 13:37 - this type of pole is manipulative garbage. 91 % wanting Wendy to go is quite low for Scotsman readers.

Cllr Terry Kelly said...

(Anonymous) 17:07 - Salmond (FFM) is a political spiv. when is a thousand not a thousand when Salmond (FFM) says so (Policemen) and the rest. I don’t recall anyone saying that they lied, when was this ?

Cllr Terry Kelly said...

(Anonymous) 21:39 - We live in a capitalist world where money talks and American money shouts and roars. What did you expect from the SNP ? whether you agree with the decision to refuse should not be the issue here it’s whether the committee behaved properly and it seems they did. The Spiv has spoken.

'Scots deserve better.'

Councillor Tommy Williams, perhaps???

Isn't he the guy who went AWOL with you a few weeks ago?

Instead of attending to Council business, it's alleged the two of you were discussing 'Time Sheets - Fact or Fiction?'

Anonymous said...

'I dont recall anyone saying that they lied.'

Charlie Gordon resigned as Transport Spokesman because he 'misled colleagues.'

He lied.

Anonymous said...

what was that? a polemic on Wendygate. No? Ranting against sleaze and political spivery appears reserved for the SNP.

Was I right on Wendys ex election agent and soon to be ex councillor Williams. He was always good at filling in forms as well, what went wrong?

Do I remember a certain councillor dishing out free fun fair tickets to punters just before the election. Now that is spivery.

Cllr Terry Kelly said...

(mother abigail) 07/12/07 OK I’ll assume that you are as stupid as you seem - I wasn’t being serious when I said these things, if you think I was you have a problem.

Cllr Terry Kelly said...

(Harry Haddock) 07/12/07 - I’m not Wendy Alexander’s agent but I do believe that Salmond (FFM) is a gutter dweller and I’m proud of my Labour Party membership, I’m a Labour man through good times and bad it’s called ‘loyalty’ you wouldn’t understand.

Your comments were as serious as those of Salmond.

No amount of backpeddling will get you off the hook on that.

Cllr Terry Kelly said...

(Rabbie) 09/12/07 - You should check over past attendance records at council meetings before accusing anyone of going awol.

Cllr Terry Kelly said...

(Anonymous) 10/12/07 I don’t recall anyone saying that they lied, in fact I don’t recall any politician saying that even Neil Hamilton or G Archer.

Cllr Terry Kelly said...

(ComEd) 10/12/07 one word for you - TRUMP.

Anonymous said...

Terry, according to your replies to comments on your 'Ordinary Copper' post both you and Williams were awol from a Council meeting on 8th November.

Now you're denying it. Why?

You're also denying being Wendy's agent, but that I understand.

ComEd said...

I'll see your Trump and play my Bernie Ecclestones and Richard Desmonds porn money.

BBC NEWS Profile:
"Richard Desmond, the gritty porn publisher turned respectable Labour party donor and powerful newspaper proprietor"

Go on, give us a one word answer.

Why is Councillor Sharkey keeping such a low profile? Hanging his head in shame after stabbing Rayleen in the back or something juicier?

Anonymous said...

When did you cease to be Wendy Alexander's election agent and what did you know about the source of campaign funds?

Cllr Terry Kelly said...

(mother abigail) 11/12/07 - if you choose not to explain this I won‘t be wasting any more time on it.

Cllr Terry Kelly said...

(rabbie) 12/12/07 - are you trying to get things wrong ? I was not at that meeting and my apologies were recorded and you are saying that I’m denying it, you are not for the first time talking nonsense. I’m not Wendy’s agent because like all politicians as far as I know, no one has an election agent because there is not an election on, I fear you’re out of your depth here.

I was proud to be Wendy’s agent at the last two elections and would regard it as a privilege to do so again, is that clear now ?

Cllr Terry Kelly said...

(ComEd) 13/12/07 I don’t know much about this guy Desmond but we don’t have Ecclestone’s money right ? Where’s Connery and Souter’s money ?

Cllr Terry Kelly said...

(Michelle Geary) 14/12/07 - Cllr. Sharkey can be contacted at Renfrewshire Council but I doubt if you would have the bottle to do it.

Cllr Terry Kelly said...

(Anonymous) 14/12/07 - 1/ May’s election like all other election agents. 2/ nothing.

I have been trying to contact Councillor Sharkey for some time via the council but haven't received a response to what is a pretty routine issue to raise with my local councillor. He was initially very helpful earlier on but seems to have vanished and I'd like to update him as he requested that I did so he could take further action on my behalf.

There are rumours going round that he's hit the bottle but if you say he's contactable via the council then it must be true. Can you ask him to get back in touch next time you see him please.

I am in regular contact with Jim Sharkey but I wouldn’t put him in contact with anyone who wants to spread poisonous rumours about him, that means you.
