TOORALOORALOORALOO I’LL TELL YE SOMETHING AWFY TRUE, YE WIDNAE HAE A TELLY THE NOO IF IT WISNAE FUR THE UNION. (MATT MC GINN)

Britain is the sixth richest country in the world, very close to number five Germany, almost neck and neck yet the following took place yesterday. At the recent GMB union conference we saw the Tory/Libdem Government prepare the way for more anti union legislation, all for the common good you understand as stated by Mr. Vince Cable of the Libdems and the coalition Government, the biggest bunch of liars and corporate gangsters ever assembled on Government benches. When he threatens legislation against strikers you can depend on it that he has chosen his words carefully, strikers who as we speak are de facto innocent of any crime, men and women who are perfectly entitled to withdraw their labour, they intend to make that a crime, Saudi Arabia? Libya? Bahrain? Britain how are ye? This bunch of millionaires and public school boys most of whom have never done a day's work in their lives will act with all the arrogance and privilege they have been raised with, this is their world and everything in it belongs to them and they are about to demonstrate that.

They are rapacious capitalists to the core and they have all been raised as class warriors, albeit with nice suits and accents and perfect manners; oh they always lift the right piece of cutlery when dining but count the spoons when they have left. The wretched Cable a man whose name is now a byword for dishonesty and cowardice was heckled and booed by the brothers and sisters who struck an attitude of 'bring it on' you lying b*****d we will fight any anti union laws. We need that class war to take place and we must destroy these people, they are parasites. They will casually extract maximum profit by paying the worker as little as they can get away with but squeal when we try to do exactly the same by extracting the maximum wages for the least work, if it's good enough for them then why not us?

Cable sought to justify his threat by explaining that new anti union laws would be enacted if action by workers was seen to be damaging the country. He thinks that that covers it so let's ask the question as often as we can. When the filthy rich move money out of Britain to dodge taxes and millionaire owners transfer companies to where they can find cheaper labour are they damaging the country? If they are why is it only the unions getting threatened? The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development estimated that the British Government was losing more than £70 Billion a year to rich tax dodgers this is enough to allow people to all pay tax at 10% without damaging services but Cable and the Government are going after the Unions. I hope that Cable the Libdems and the rest of what the great Nye Bevan described as vermin will find there is a battle looming and the unions will be fighting in the knowledge that we have justice on our side and we will never quit, "Bring It On"

Hello Terry
Everything you say about Vince Cable is true. For some reason I don't understand, the trade union movement do not use the strength they have. Yesterday's gas and electricity price rise is criminal
but no-one seems to do anything about it. Few politicians today have any fire in their belly's and are too scared to rock the boat.
What a pity we lost Gordon Brown
as the country's leader. He at least had some the qualities we need.
Keep up the good work.
Ian.

Cable and the Libdems are finished for a long time and deservedly so. I think that times are going to get a lot harder and it’s the poor and working classes who will suffer most.

The question is what will be the response from the Labour Movement. I think and hope that the massive demonstration we saw in London will only be the start. What that showed is that the Labour Movement still packs a big punch when the cause is right and we will have plenty of cause in the months/years ahead.

Is that why you were massacared in the last Scottish election by the SNP or did you forget that

I am not responsible thank God for trying to educate nationalist idiots like you but I can tell you that the “Labour Movement” did not and does not run in elections. Do you have to practice to be this stupid?

Mind and keep all your millionaires to the back though. So that it still has the appearance of a workers uprising circa 1973. Prentis, Crow, Kinnocks, Blair et al.

When are the lights due to go out so that I can book 3 weeks holiday in a country in the 21st century.

We never counted on help from people like you anyway, you wouldn’t have the stomach for it that’s why you are anonymous.

Now Now Terry,

i am sure all the sun tanned socialist millionaire's are itching to fight the good fight. Lord Sainsbury will supply the food parcels (at cost)and sell millions of candles, only this time scented, just like 1973 all over again.

How is the People's popular front or is the popular front of the people?

Can't wait.

I really don’t know what this nonsense means, would like to have a go at telling us where you stand in all of this. Apart from rather childish attacks on the Labour Party you have said nothing.

This almost sticks in my throat, but there is something in what you say. The LibDems are political whores, I don't think that's any secret. I do also agree that moving money and jobs offshore is hardly conducive to the economy. I have to stop now. I'm getting a panic attack.

Oh look another member of the Labour party that Terry doesn't know who is obviously undermining the Lords from within. You must know a wee circle of people or don't get out much.
"CONSERVATIVE and Labour politicians want Lord Reid of Cardowan to lead the campaign to keep Scotland within the UK"

I think I have said this before but in case you missed it, the last time that the SNP conference took a vote on sending people to the Lords the conference voted against by a very narrow margin. It was almost fifty, fifty.

Would you like to comment on that? Are you aware that parties sometimes vote together on constitutional questions which are not considered political, like independence.

independence - not political?????

Go lie down Terry, the blood is finding it difficult to supply all your brain when more than two cells are firing.

Ask Lord Reid and baroness Adams and Mandelson etc etc etc etc etc etc

Of Bats and Men...sorry John S.

In America harebrained ideas also abound, bats one of the most important and least understood of all animals are also under attack. Who likes likes bats, which is truly unfortunate because bats do much more good than bad. They eat huge quantities of insects, to the benefit of crops and man alike. Without bats there would be a lot more midges in Scotland and chiggers in North America. The natural world is becoming more stressed by the vengeful hysteria of ignorant health officials. All American bats are insectivores and none have ever been known to bite a human. There are more bats than most realize, a quarter of all mammal species. In the Second World War bats were capitalized on, wee bombs were tied to them in the hopes that they would fly into Japan and set fire to the place. Bats seldom go where you want them to.

No surprise here eh? You haven’t a clue. Independence is a constitutional question not a political one, talk to someone in your party with half a brain if you can find one. Why is it that some of the more ‘challenged’ Nats. Say “I don’t care if I starve as long as we get rid of the Engurlish”? it’s because it’s not a political issue you eejit.

Cllr Terry Kelly said...

Something similar is threatening large areas of arable land here with the demise of the bee population. Man is the cleverest creature ever to exist and also the most stupid. Bats always get a bad rap because of ghost and horror stories when they are quite astonishing creatures and harmless to us.

"Independence is a constitutional question not a political one"

Tee hee, and i suppose the constitutional fairies make the decisions on what is constitutional, not the politicians??? For Feck sake read a book. Go on explain why it's not political.

You are making yourself look sillier at every attempt, let me try to help again, I’m a patient man.

Capitalism V Socialism is political – Public sector V Private Sector is political - Monarchy V Republic is political – Private Schools V State Schools is political – Private Health V the NHS is political. These things will be the subject of political conflict whether there is independence or not, independence is not a political issue.

That’s my last attempt at helping you to understand, your next reply if you insist in ridiculing yourself further will be the last word.
