SPRINGWATCH

I watched again last night and my jaw dropped to hear Bill Oddie come out with a load of stuff about how it was all right to interfere with nature and help chicks in a nest, a spectacular volte - face why then did we film a chick falling from it's nest to it's death.

I doubt if Bill Oddie reads my site so I can't claim the credit for changing his mind, I can only assume that what I was saying was being said by lots of others who were phoning in to tell them what they thought, well done to them, it's a start.

No, that is wrong. You should never interfere in nature.

RFS - Absolute rubbish - read my comments on your last post.

I read it, you mistake conservation for ad hoc interference.

Which areas of the great outdoors would you say you are most familiar with?

RFS - I'm not quite sure what you mean by this but, I've walked on top of the Cairngorms and swam in highland lochs and rivers, I've spent many happy days in the Scottish pine forests, I've fished in our great rivers, I spent happy times on family farms in Ireland.

I've seen Golden Eagles, Peregrine Falcons, Eagle owls, Barn owls etc. Ospreys fishing, and nesting, Hen Harriers, Kestrels, Ptarmigans, I could go on. Foxes, deer, squirrels, Otters, Seals, Basking Sharks etc. I can't think of many creatures I've not seen in the wild, Pine Martins, Wild Cats, Badgers I've seen, but not in the wild.

Does that do ?

"Does that do ?"

A straight answer to a straight question, that is all I have ever wanted from you Terry.

Well done.

RFS - I always give straight answers, your problem is that I don't tell you what you want to hear.

"I always give straight answers"

Cite one example of a question I have asked and you have given a straight answer to. Go on. I double dare you.

Cllr Terry Kelly said...

RFS - I double dare you to prove me wrong - your problem is as I've pointed out before I don't write what you want me to write quite childish really

RfS said...

God damned this is easy.

I asked you before on another thread YESTERDAY to explain what war crimes the nasty jews are perpetrating against the helpless palestinians.

Your answer was to insult me, call me childish and then (when I explain that maybe I just have some independent thoughts) you paint some strange image of me as superman. Now yes, I can leap tall buildings in a single bound but I wear boxer shorts.

And that is just from yesterday. Can you provide a single example where you gave me a straight answer to anything at all bar this one time?

RFS - You just can't help singing your own praises can you, I regard that as a sign of insecurity, you have to keep on boosting your ego.

I regard shooting and torturing innocent people and taking their land and bulldozing their houses as war crimes, is that straight enough ?

RfS said...

I consider the launching of indiscriminate rocket attacks at schools, shops and roads a war crime. I consider suicide bombs at cafes and markets war crimes.

But wait, I can't because I would have to ask- what war?

RFS - My answer was straight then ?
