Would you agree that it is just as if not more appropriate to say "something for Labour party members everywhere "to gnash their teeth" at considering the singing of The red flag where they sing "the people's flag is deepest red, it shrouded oft our martyred dead" etc "we'll keep the red flag flying etc.

Cllr Terry Kelly said...

No I would not agree The Red Flag is an International anthem not a national anthem, it reminds us of our common cause with workers all over the world. National anthems are divisive the Red Flag unites. If this is difficult to grasp for you let me know and I will try to explain it for you.

As one who has been at the sharp end of a labour governments foriegn policy I've seen far to many comrades buried wrapped in your flag of choice. You seem to be blind to Brit nationalism often expressed in acts of terrible violence but loathe Scot's nationalism where only an odd egg or two has been damaged. Your hatred blinds you.

Cllr Terry Kelly said...

I am opposed to all Ethnic Nationalism it is a form of racism and the SNP fit that bill. Your comments about my flag of choice and your "buried comrades" is incomprehensible, I have no idea what you are trying to say.

what about the Irish tricolour Terry, I see you make an exception for that. After all it is backed up by murder and mayhem in the name of Irish independence, so that one's ok eh?

Pathetically twisting and turning your principles to suit your immorality. Don't worry although you will be out of a job next year I am sure you and your fellow labour diehards in the poorest council ward in Britain have sorted yourselves out a nice wee pay off and pension eh?

Unfortunately you were too dim for ermine but maybe a wee OBE or something at the new year eh?

Here's a couple for you Terry; A nations culture resides in the hearts and minds of it's people. Mahatma Ghandi.

.First they ignore you, then they laugh at you , then they fight you, then you win. Mahatma Ghandi.

“The man who in the name of Ireland accepts as a ‘final settlement’ anything less by one iota than separation from England is guilty of so immense an infidelity, so immense a crime against the Irish nation . . . that it were better for that man (as it were certainly better for his country) that he had not been born.”
Padraic Pearse

"Self government is our right, a thing born to us at birth a thing no more to be doled out to us by another people then the right to life itself then the right to feel the sun or smell the flowers or to love our kind."
Roger Casement

"No person knows better than you do that the domination of England is the sole and blighting curse of this country. It is the incubus that sits on our energies, stops the pulsation of the nation’s heart and leaves to Ireland not gay vitality but horrid the convulsions of a troubled dream."
Daniel O'Connell --- Letter to Bishop Doyle, 1831

Ghandi, Pearse, Casement and O'Connell were fighting against the British occupiers of their countries, Scotland is not occupied and they recently voted No to separation in a referendum. That seems to me to be a very basic and fundamental difference between Ireland/India and Scotland, that and the obvious reluctance of Scottish nationalists to actually fight.

Sovereign people who take up arms against an armed invader are not in my opinion murderers. Zionist Jews ran terrorist campaigns against Britain before Israel was created, Kenya, India, the USA and others all fought off the British Invader, what do you call them?. The rest of your post sounds like a spiteful child talking, you are pathetic. How is that second referendum coming along by the way?.

so to summarise all other countries nationalists are ok, just not Scotlands.

As summaries go Mr. anonymous that wouldn't get you a pass in primary one.

Nationalists like the national front, the bnp, UKIP, The front nationale (in France) and the snp I find intolerable, racist and ugly. Others like Indian nationalists led by Ghandi, Irish Nationalists, Kenyan nationalists, Americans who fought the British and Cubans who fought the Americans etc. etc. I find heroic, they fought occupiers and won against all the odds, Scottish nationalists are neither occupied or prepared to fight.

Scottish Nationalists are prepared to fight at the ballot box and are doing so very successfully, they have so far increased support for independence to 45% and destroyed beyond recovery a self serving Labour party.

It's a disgrace that a public servant such as yourself should be inciting people to violence, the people of Scotland face a democratic deficit and are fighting it democratically. We apologise for the lack of burnt out pubs and dead babies.

Independence is finished according to the ballot box. Your arguments are so pitiful that you continually have to resort to blatant lies, I have never incited people to violence, I simply point out the people like you who shout the loudest are cowards compared with many other countries who fought for independence including Ireland that is no lie it is a fact. How is that second referendum coming along by the way?.

Why is fighting a civil war with innocents dying more commendable than the democracy via the ballot box?

I have never said that innocents dying was better than democracy you clown.
