DEAR DON. & ECK. (THE SPIV) I'D RATHER SEE A REAL EAGLE THAN A GOLF EAGLE.

The tartan veil slips and once again we see the calibre of Scots. in the SNP. Salmond (the spiv) rolls over and gets his tummy tickled by the rich American and a priceless part of our natural heritage gets flogged, “bought and sold for Yankee gold you might say” there are people in the SNP who years ago would have been spitting blood over this, now they accept anything as long as it comes from (the spiv) he has got the fundies scared and neutered.

In Renfrewshire the “voice of Holyrood” EX MSP Cllr. McFee and wee Jim Mitchell the EX Parliamentary candidate are completely cowed, they are yesterday’s men, they should have done the decent thing and left with Martin and Vassie, both barking of course but, true Nationalists and loyal to the cause, now referred to as “The real SNP” they can at least still look at themselves in the mirror, “put a Scotsman on a spit and you can always pay some other Scotsmen to turn him for you” (to borrow from Jonathan Swift)

Trump will build a palace for Philistines on what was once a magnificent landscape which will never be seen again, and the people of the area will become caddies and bar tenders, that is Salmond (the spiv’s) vision for Scotland, the SNP have humiliated Scots. with their actions. Planning laws were circumvented and the democratically elected chair of the planning board was dumped to allow this sell out to happen.

I write occasionally about our fantastic natural environment, it is something we should cherish for future generations not sell off to global billionaires, in years to come people might take their children walking and look from a distance at the huge monument to the twin egos of Trump and (the spiv) Salmond, (they won’t be allowed near it) and tell them about the magnificent wildlife and spectacular scenery that was once here, back in the days before the SNP vandals got the whiff of Trump’s money.
What the Scottish Govt. Did here was to diminish and weaken their country in the eyes of the world, they showed themselves to be small timers, easy meat for the money men.

The SNP have wailed for years about people whom they accuse of not having the courage to let Scotland stand alone, "we can handle our own affairs" is their mantra.

Donald Trump knows different.

Your critisism's are valid. However, the opposition parties are all rather complicit in this, your own shadow tourism minister Comrade MacDonald rather welcomed the rulling.

SNP members were NOT the only members who saw dollar signs when Trumptown was originaly submitted, though it was SNP councillors who agitated the loudest for the removal of Cllr Ford (the Lib Dem Councillor who voted to block Trumptown last year)from his committee chairmanship.

I agree Terry. The point about the very best links in Scotland is that they are natural. Yanks don't get this at all

I hope this decision will be protested and overturned

Very true. But it's clowns like you that are turning the spit.

I believe that had this been a decision to be made by Labour there would have been an uproar within the Party.

Once again there is no dissent within the SNP, is there no one in their ranks who opposes the Trump sell out? Opinions for and against this appear to be fiercely held accept in the SNP who have the power to stop it.

Is the (wee spiv) putting something in their porridge?

I am not a golfer, I have played I think 4 times in my life with some of my brothers, one of whom Gerry is pretty good, if a 7 handicap is good, he says it is anyway, but he would cheat at tiddlywinks.

The bottom line is that this course is not necessary and when the area is churned up it’s lost for ever.

Not guilty – Alex (the spiv) Trump’s caddie, he’s doing the turning.

You believe that a if the decision to allow the golf course had been made by Labour, 'there would have been uproar within the party.'

Terry, we had a Labour PM who took us into an illegal WAR and there wasn't uproar so I can't see golf causing much of a ripple.

Swallowing the elephant but sraining at the pea comes to mind.

Once again you are either speaking from ignorance or you are a liar.
In addition to the Labour MP’s below who voted against the Govt. Robin Cook and Clare Short sacrificed their ministerial careers. The rows went on all over the country and I myself was censured for writing articles against the war. And you are a moron.

Yes a 7 handicap is pretty good! Wish I could play to that. I guess my point is that the best links in Scotland were laid out by local people who could see the lie of the land and use it to decide where greens would be and fairways would go. No flash 5* hotels were needed, no flash houses were needed. You might say that those original "architects" understood about environment and its part in golf; they laid out links that used natural features to challenge the golfers, and bloody successful they were!

This piece of fake gold course will be designed for Yanks and others who have no concept of what I've tried to describe.

I know one thing, if I lived on that part of the Aberdeenshire coast, I'd protest against this monstrosity to my last breath - as a golfer, its obscene

Councillor,

Your list is very telling. 149 against and only 2 had the balls to resign. Had all 149 resigned, that would have been an uproar.

Andy – Clearly from the heart, I can feel the outrage from the page. I suspect that there are many people who play and love golf who share your sentiments, keep driving and putting.

Cllr Terry Kelly said...

(Daniel Dravot) 09:24
There’s no pleasing some folk is there, perhaps you are struggling with the concept of internal party uproar.

Macnasty said...

re Dravot post @ 9.24

I said something similar, but my post got lost in your 'Censored' bin.

However, let us look at the two Cabinet Ministers who resigned over Blairs War: Ms Short was, and is, a nonentity, while Bonny Robin, having already laid down his wife for Alastair Campbell and the Party maybe decided enough was enough.

Because Blair lied, people have died and you feel no shame. You and your Party are a stench in the nostrils of decent, honest folk councillor.

Cllr Terry Kelly said...

(Macnasty) 14:43

Smears and abuse are no substitute for argument. Blair did not lie.

“You and your Party are a stench in the nostrils of decent, honest folk councillor “

Where have you been ?

Anonymous said...

"Blair did not lie."

Say WHAT!?

Err, does 45 minutes and the death of Dr David Kelly have no resonance with you?

Blair lied, we know he lied, he knows he lied. It would appear that once again you are left defending the indefensible.

Cllr Terry Kelly said...

(Daniel Dravot) 08:23
I disagree, getting something wrong does not mean that you lied and, shouting the loudest does not make you right.

Macnasty said...

So Blair didn't take us to war on a lie - he just got it wrong!

Councillor, we are not talking of putting two lumps instead of three in your coffee, we are talking about a WAR, with people dying and getting maimed.

I say Blair lied, you say he 'got it wrong.'. Either way,a resigning matter for anyone with a shred of honour.

Cllr Terry Kelly said...

(Macnasty) 12/11/08
“anyone with a shred of honour”

As the hostess said about “Macnasty” the dinner guest.

“the more he talked about honour, the faster we counted the spoons”

Macnasty said...

Forget the clever quote. Just answer the question son. If a PM takes us to war because he 'got it wrong,' is it a resigning matter?

Anonymous said...

Anybody in any other job getting something so wrong would be sacked and would probably have faced criminal proceedings due to to the fact that their decision had led to so many deaths, maimings, injuries etc.

You seem happy to turn a blind eye to this councillor.

Cllr Terry Kelly said...

(Macnasty) 13/11/08
Blair is not a military expert, not an expert on chemical weapons, he did what politicians do in these situations he took the experts advice.
He could have ignored their advice and still got it wrong, now you would have enjoyed that wouldn’t you.

Cllr Terry Kelly said...

(ALAN MCD) 08:12
Politicians have to listen to the advice of experts on many matters and take decisions based on that, history is strewn with blunders, and wrong decisions by politicians but, you want to jail Blair.
Presumably you would have him in the next cell to the war criminal Thatcher who would be in the cell vacated by David Lloyd George, who in turn would have been suceeded by the drunken idiot Churchill.

Macnasty said...

'Blair took the experts advice.'

No he didn't. He had the experts advice re-written until it supported what he wanted to do.

John Scarlett got promoted for co-authoring it with Dear Alistair Campbell and a honest reporter got sacked for writing about it.

Cllr Terry Kelly said...

(Macnasty) 20:13
I KNOW IT’S RATHER OBVIOUS BUT SO ARE YOU. This is the version that you choose to support, nothing more.

Macnasty said...

How many Prime Ministers have taken us to war 'by mistake.'

Only one, Anthony Lynton Blair and may he rot in hell for it

To borrow your phrase, he was 'Bought and sold for Yankee Gold'

Cllr Terry Kelly said...

(Macnasty) 14/11/08

The rantings of an incoherent fool.

How about calling down a plague of boils on him, that will really scare him.

Macnasty said...

So you accept that no other PM but Blair has taken us to war 'by mistake' and that he was bought by Yankee gold.

A step in the right direction, Bonny Lad, a small one, but it's a start towards setting you on the road to integrity and credibility

Cllr Terry Kelly said...

You may have heard this before,

“this is your version of events nothing more”
