SNP ON THE SIDE OF THE SCOTTISH WORKERS? NOT IF YOU ARE A VICTIMISED MINER. THEY HAVE JUST BETRAYED THEM WITH THE HELP OF THE TORIES. NO CHANGE THERE THEN.

Just a couple of days ago I watched with interest the progress of the campaign for justice on behalf of the Liverpool Football fans who lost their lives or were injured at Hillsborough. The campaign was based on a search for the truth about what happened and an enquiry was granted in to the actions of the police and their behaviour which has been questioned since the tragedy happened. Rather than rehearse the arguments again I will just say that the families of the supporters have been vindicated and the enquiry condemned the police actions and we will hear more about this in future. This result has been greeted with acclaim by ordinary people everywhere as a victory for truth and justice.

What then are we to make of the snp Scottish Government's decision to reject a similar enquiry in to the behaviour of the police during the coal dispute of 19 83 to 19 84? 200 miners lost their jobs and 500 found themselves with criminal records for defending their communities from Tory attack and the accusations of the mining communities have never gone away. The success of the Hillsborough enquiry gave the miners and their families hope of a similar enquiry being granted here by the Snp Government but, the snp chose to dash those hopes with a rejection. For a party which persistently and bogusly claims to care about the Scottish people this is a huge snp betrayal, there is no other way to describe it, they have stabbed the Scottish mining communities in the back and in doing so betrayed Scotland as well.

During the dispute people were denied the right to travel, police operated without identification, spurious charges were made, police ran riot with horses and batons, huge lorries were allowed to go charging through towns and villages carrying scab coal at excessive and dangerous speed with impunity and, it was all planned and coordinated by a right wing Tory Government at 10 Downing Street. This was the British state crushing workers rights so why are the snp refusing to expose them? Why are the snp not willing to act against the UK state when they have a case against them? One would think that this is a godsend for their anti English/British agenda so why? Something smells rotten here.

The National Union of Mineworkers was the backbone of the labour movement and as such they were and still are unfortunately as loathed by the snp as they were and still are by the Tories. Along with the Labour Party, other Unions and various Socialist societies they are what organised labour is all about and the snp have always harboured a deep hatred for the miners and the other trade unions. The snp see the wider labour Movement as traitors to Scotland because they have never bought in to the snp's small constricted nationalist agenda. The idea of Trade Unionism is International, it recognises no barriers and that is anathema to nationalists. The trade unionist reaches out to all workers no matter what colour, race or creed he or she is they do not care what nationality someone is only that they are a brother or sister. That is why the snp hate trade unionism and it's also why they have betrayed the Scottish miners and the rest of Scotland too on this very important issue. Consider the fact that the minister responsible for granting the request for an enquiry Kenny MacAskill did not even bother to attend the debate. They (the snp) could hardly make their contempt for the Trade Union Movement clearer. This is the true face of nationalism and separation and it is deeply ugly, these are the kind of people who want to run Scotland and make it a place where hatred of non Scots. especially English people is fostered, a backward pinched face place separation from the rest of the world.. If thousands of people from the Scottish coalfield communities can't get support from the Scottish snp government just what kind of people are the snp?

Labour MSP John Finnie's motion for an independent enquiry in to the behaviour of the UK national Police Force including the Scottish Police Force during the coal dispute was voted down by the snp in Holyrood aided by the Tories, how did your snp MSP vote? IS EDUCATION WASTED ON THE YOUNG? HAVE A LOOK AT THE UNIVERSITY OF THE WEST OF SCOTLAND SNP STUDENTS BEFORE ANSWERING.

It's now 25/02/13 and I attended the debate on the 21/02/13 at the UWS on the question of Scotland breaking up the UK. Though expecting to see hundreds in attendance after the boasting about numbers on facebook, there were only about 50 people there if that many. I have to say that as a first attempt to blatantly rig a meeting and make sure that the Uni's favourite side (snp) got every advantage it was embarrassing. Planted snp speakers in the audience with prepared speeches were ushered in by the chair at regular intervals and Derek Mackay snp MSP was given 3/4 times more opportunities than anyone else to speak, he was also able to interrupt others and speak over anyone else when he wanted to. The audience of mainly snp students played their part by trying to shout down anyone who disagreed with the snp line and broke into orchestrated applause and cheering when one of the snp said anything. It took me a full 25 minutes with my hand raised to be asked to speak , despite me sitting right in front of the chairman and my Labour colleague Jim Sharkey who was sat next to me spent the whole evening with his hand raised trying to come in to the debate to no avail. This was marketed as an attempt to start a debating society in the University of the West of Scotland and I can only advise anyone who might have been interested in such a venture not to waste their time unless you want to get involved in an snp mutual admiration society where they only talk among themselves and then only to sing the praises of the snp and traduce labour. You would be as well to go the pub and join in arguing with the saloon bar politicians once you have all had a bit too much to drink. On returning home I was relieved to see that students in another university (Glasgow) not very far away from this shambolic stitch up had voted against independence, their poll involved over 2,500 and the WSU mustered about 50. Something that the WSU should perhaps think about before trying such an obviously disingenuous stunt again.

The hall looked as if a fire alarm had gone off leaving a handful of rough sleepers dotted around. The turnout was a humiliation for the UWS yes campaign, their immature deceitful conduct and most of all for the university. They now have an even bigger problem with credibility and integrity than they had before and believe me it was already pretty appalling. The snp people present were an inarticulate mob rehearsing the arguments of the seventies. I did what I usually do in a hostile and ignorant environment, I wait to see if I am going to be allowed to contribute on an equal basis and whether I will be heard with respect and when it becomes clear that I am not being treated equally and not being shown respect I respond in kind but; I always give the opposition a fair chance to reveal how they want to conduct the debate. The steward present made a show of speaking to audience members who said anything anti snp while allowing the snp supporters to behave like a drunken rabble. If that is how the snp want to run a so called debate then they should not imagine for a second that I and others will roll over and let them get away with it. The debate was won easily by the NO side but there was no chance of that being acknowledged by the snp gang in the hall, most of them silly and too inexperienced to realize that shouting the loudest does not mean you are winning it more often than not means you are masking your incompetence, that is not winning a debate it is an orchestrated deception.

Any way I look forward to the next occasion if there is one. BTW along with others I expected the chair to announce the result of the Glasgow University referendum vote which was declared a full hour before this farce ended but, alas they didn't do it. If the No vote had lost instead of winning at Glasgow Uni. is it possible do you think that we might have heard it announced?

ANOTHER BIG CON BY SALMOND

 

How many people will be clearing their diaries to celebrate independence day in March 20 16? No it's not a shaggy dog story; it's what the snp and their leader wee Alex (the shyster) have announced. No they don't know the result of the referendum and no they do not know the date of the referendum either, nor do they have answers to many basic and fundamental questions about independence because; no they don't know the answers to them either. In the frantic world of misrepresentation and bluster that Salmond lives in he knows he can get away with such absurd behaviour among his own simple slogan ridden flag waving members and supporters who have nothing left to cling to except this discredited shell of a man. He is all they have left in a world of make believe fashioned by him. A world in which he unexpectedly found himself by winning a majority in Holyrood.

That victory and the lies and spin which caused it has also put him in the position of having to deliver, something he knows deep down inside that he never thought he would have to do and by God it shows. Self-important claims. Downright lies and outrageous deceptions are now what sustains him and his increasingly delusional followers, mainly people who bought the dream from this swindler, they have invested so much in to it and allowed themselves to be kidded that it was possible, it's difficult not to feel sorry for some of them.

"Let's have independence day in March 20 16" says wee Eck and none of his followers bother to ask: but when is the voting day oh great leader? And is it not risky to set a celebration day before we have counted the votes? It's more like being afraid to ask rather than not being bothered, afraid of the great leader but even more afraid of what such questions mean to them as individuals. Such questions sow the seeds of uncertainty and lead to more questions, and consequently fear has taken over. It is also interesting to note that this latest hoax was reported first by a Murdoch Red Top Rag, coincidence? Aye right.

Once this fraudulent snp farce is over and they have been humiliated, the job of putting Scotland right will be difficult. It is however crucial that such people are confined to history and their hateful and poisonous brand of politics with them. Time to clean up Scotland's politics and remove the malcontents and malevolent bullies.

SOME PEOPLE JUST CANNAE TAKE A JOKE. SCOTS?

I remember reading in an art history book that cartoons and graffiti are as old as paintings, drawings, Books etc. I found an example where Michael Angelo had painted 'The Last Judgement' and he painted the faces of his enemies among the church hierarchy, the cardinals, bishops etc. the damned who were shown descending to hell after being judged, he was also a brave man. He was also a great painter 'the Sistine Chapel? 2 coats in 1 afternoon" what a guy.
Fast forward many many years to the roaring fun loving years of Nazi Germany and we find that certain cartoons or jokes or famously books were very dangerous things indeed. A fine example of this was a luminous avante garde left wing cartoonist and painter called George Grosze. He specialized in lampooning the Nazis and upper classes in bohemian Berlin. He rightly decided at one point though that it would be prudent to head for America while he was still alive. I digress but his son Marty Grosze became a celebrated jazz guitarist and band leader a brilliant and hilarious entertainer, he might still be alive you can catch him on U Tube.
So what is this all about I hear you ask? Well; in the past couple of days we have been forced to reflect on the fact that there are still people who think like the ancient cardinals who had it in for Michael Angelo and the censorious protectors of German decency who wanted to jail George Grosze, and they are right here among us. I refer to the 'stushies' surrounding the two great current cartoonists and satirists Gerald Scarfe of The Sunday Times and Steve Bell of The Guardian. Scarfe did a cartoon of Israeli PM Benyamin Netanyahu building part of the famous apartheid wall where the cement between the bricks was seen to be Palestinian blood. This brought an all too familiar orchestrated cry of Anti Semitism against Scarfe by Zionist liars who trot this scurrilous charge out against anyone who says anything bad about Israel, I have been subjected to this myself despite never having made an anti Jewish statement in my life and it can be very nasty, they are nothing if not powerful and organised.
This brings me to the side-splitting Steve Bell of the Guardian who chose to produce a cartoon of Alex Salmond which was very funny and a bit monstrous at the same time. these words were written behind his huge plump head and his face which had a big blue saltire painted on it "Scotland should go and **** itself" the top of Salmond's head obscured the blank space. Well!!! I kid you not dear readers, the snp/separatist/cybernats have gone 'doo lally' they want Steve Bell's head on a pike, he has traduced our noble country, he has insulted our glorious dead , he has peed all over oor grannie's hielan hame, stolen oor wullie's bucket, this insult must be avenged. Guardian readers will be aware that there is no such thing as an off limits target to Steve Bell; above all among those who like Salmond can strut while seated. Salmond has sensibly chosen to fume in silence but his gullible troops are chewing the carpet. This is yet another example of the state of mind of the nationalists. Just about every significant public figure from Prime Ministers to Popes to US Presidents to the Queen and Phil. to the rest of the royal oafs; to pop stars and you name it have all had their arrogance pricked by Steve Bell's unerring eye for the absurd but, Salmond and Scotland? Oh no Mr Bell you have gone too far. Well Scots. are you on the side of the cardinals, the Nazis and the snp or, do you prefer freedom of expression? It's a difficult one isn't it?

HOORAY HENRY TO THE RESCUE AS ARMY NUMBERS FALL.

Military types and lounge bar commandoes have been on a roller coaster ride over the past 2 days, rumours about massive army job losses turned out to be true causing much grief and sullenness among those who serve and those who have served. 5,300 heroes are for the bagwash, the mallet, the bullet, if you will pardon the pun. The numbers who will be sent 'down the road' will present problems, unemployment of course will be one, considering that an average 800 a year are dishonourably discharged for drug offences a rise in drug taking would not surprise anyone either. Since the greatest homogeneous group to be found in our prisons and mental hospitals are ex army personnel it would seem reasonable to expect extra strain on these services as well, sobering thoughts indeed.

Where stands the protection of the realm though and how much do these redundancies weaken and damage the safety of our country? 5,300 men trained to kill and obey orders are not easily replaced; do you feel safer without them? Fortunately the stories, pictures and interviews of the past few days can serve to reassure us that we can all sleep safe and sound at night knowing that the 5,300 will not be missed as long as we have Prince Harry. Handsome, valiant, gallant and royal; what a package. Sober or soused he's the man for the job, able to leap tall buildings in a single bound and slaughter 20 fuzzy wuzzies with a rolled up copy of the London Times before getting pissed and going swimming with naked young women. It's a great life in the army! The newspapers are now telling us that he is now a killer; the template of the warrior prince is now complete. What they have not told us though is whether the person or persons he killed were men, women or children or indeed if they were tied up and blindfolded when he carried out his heroic task.

All this and a royal baby on the way, is it any wonder the wee Spiv Salmond threw in his lot with the Queen of Britain?

HOW MUCH LONGER CAN SALMOND AND THE SNP KEEP UP THE PRETENCE OF A POSSIBLE REFERENDUM VICTORY

As the support for independence slips to 28% and shows signs of dropping further the people wait patiently for the snp/separatist/cybernats to tell us what independence will look like. What will happen to our pensions, what will happen to jobs, what currency will we use and many many more questions. The numbers still talking bullish snp claptrap are dwindling and are looking more and more like Napoleon's 'Old Guard' ready to die on the battlefield for the emperor Salmond, no matter how many times he lets them down or lies to them, blind loyalty? Gullible? the personality cult? It was ever thus. Some people need someone to die for; they have nothing to give but loyalty; no initiative, no spark of intelligence, waiting to be led like cattle.

"Pity the poor country that needs heroes" (Bertlot Brecht) he could have been talking about Scotland and the snp, from the invented William Wallace; through Bruce, Rob Roy? To Oor Wullie and Benny Lynch they need heroes. Even the shyster Salmond will suffice for the more cerebrally challenged. After 70 odd years of the snp demanding independence they are unable to tell us what it is about. They can sing about it and march in it's favour, threaten to die for it, even duff up the odd Englishman for it if he is not too big and there are enough of them together but explain it? Alas no.

It looks like they are heading for a humiliation when the vote is eventually taken and some of them if their language on newspaper comment blogs are anything to go by are beginning to unravel. They are now at the stage where anyone who is voting No is "not a real Scot." or even a "traitor or a coward" these people will take defeat very badly and I predict civil unrest if they get enough to drink. These kilted drink sodden hoards of bearded, tattooed snarling chib carrying thugs will take to the streets and the men of the snp will be no better.

I further predict that when the balloon goes up the first rat with a lifebelt will be the wee spiv Salmond he will be off like a rat up a roan pipe, having made the bullets he will leave the tartan clad rabble to fire them. It will be a time where it becomes prudent to lie low if you have an Engurlish accent.

“I WISH I WAS A SPACEMAN THE FASTEST GUY ALIVE, I’D FLY AROUND THE UNIVERSE IN FIREBALL XL5” GERRY ANDERSON R.I.P.

Years ago I heard the creator of Joe Ninety, Miss. Penelope and Fireball XL5 the late great Gerry Anderson being interviewed on radio and he told this charming true story about himself, it sums him up delightfully. He was visiting the Kennedy Space Centre and he went for lunch only to find the place full except for a table with one guy who agreed to share his table with him. Anderson noticed that the guy wore a space centre badge and he asked him what he did and the fellow said he worked there at Kennedy.
Anderson was fascinated and asked him if he had ever seen a launch and he said no he had not, they had a pleasant lunch and the guy gave Anderson his 'card' as he shook hands and left. On the card it said USA Astronaut Commander James Lovelle. Anderson had a good laugh at the great Space legend Jim. Lovelle telling him he had never seen a launch which of course he hadn't as he was up in the nose cone of the space ship on several launches and didn't see anything, he was of course played by Tom Hanks in the thrilling movie Apollo 13 and I believe he also holds the American record for most space miles. They became friends and it is typical of Anderson to relate this story where he was the punch line, a lovely guy who stirred the imagination of millions of kids and some grownups too, I hope he's up there zooming around somewhere.  

TIDINGS OF COMFORT AND JOY – BARLINNIE STYLE.

Two days before Christmas I found myself driving slowly along the narrow road which takes you the final couple of hundred yards to the main gate of one of Glasgow's most famous institutions.


Sharing the top 3 places of fame are Celtic Park, Ibrox Park and here, Barlinnie Jail, The Bar L, The Big Hoose, where a great many of the former two teams supporters are guests of her majesty. At this time of year it shares with other similar establishments the title of the saddest place on earth. It is freezing and I am about to carry out my duty as a prison visitor, not quite the happiest task I've ever carried out. For anyone who has never been in a large prison it is difficult to describe. Over a hundred years old and it shows, with Victorian stone arches and walls and tiny cells, most now thankfully containing one prisoner where; when I first visited the place some 10 years ago it was common for a cell to hold 2 and often three with no sanitation, not very Christmassy eh? All cells now have personal sanitation thankfully, some say that is spoiling them, invariably people who have never seen the inside of a place like Barlinnie. After a while you tend to forget about the tough guy reputation of the inmates and indeed the warders as you notice that nowadays they get along quite well. Most prisoners are poor souls really and quite unable to survive without help on the outside, take away the help and back they come. When you talk to them they talk about their families, particularly at this time, are they due sympathy? Well sometimes it is not easy to sympathise with some of them but by and large the majority should not be there and it is difficult not to feel compassion, read on.

A couple of years ago a national newspaper "The Guardian" ran a series of major articles by people who are involved in the penal system. These experts stated unequivocally that approximately 80% of prisoners in the English and Welsh prison system suffered from 2 or more mental health conditions. I asked the then Governor of Barlinnie at a meeting of the Prison Visitors Committee if he was aware of the articles and whether their findings were consistent with the Scottish Prison System. He immediately said he was aware of the articles and no they were not consistent with Scottish prisons, he stated that the 80% figure was more in the region of 30% in Barlinnie, we agreed to pursue this further but never got round to it as my tenure as a visitor was ending shortly.

If 81 % illiteracy, 71% innumeracy and 80% of prisoners with two or more mental health problems is the norm and I have no reason to doubt that it is then, despite the courageous and unwavering efforts of the prison staff we have a major crisis on our hands and it has been on the increase for years.

If a prisoner is taken in to prison to start his/her sentence and is illiterate, innumerate and suffering from mental health problems or any one or combination of the 3 and that same prisoner is at the end of that sentence released still either illiterate, innumerate and suffering from mental health problems or one or a grouping of those 3 should we not at least be asking what is it that we want prisons to do, is this acceptable? If the present government proceeds with its plans over the next couple of years we will be facing a tsunami of crime and consequential prison admissions and; under the present regime that can only mean one thing, the situation will get worse and the Government will exploit the situation by acting tough to harvest votes. This has gone on too long, it's time society faced reality, prison does not work, but it might if we start to take rehabilitation seriously. At the moment and historically any suggestion of rehabilitation is disingenuous, dangerous nonsense as long as this scandalous situation continues. Investment is required now to provide gain in the long term, many chaotic lives have been made worse by the system and many lives have been ruined and families destroyed by short term expediency and cowardly decisions by politicians of every colour.

It's time to take on this problem and to make sure that politicians; properly advised by criminologists, educational experts and Mental Health professionals are forced to face up to it and made take the lead. The very last people who should have influence are red top journalists who will say and do anything to demonise prisoners and complain about how easy prisons are. These people should start the learning process about prisons by examining the numbers of suicides, attempted suicides and the incidence of self harm in the system before going away and hanging their heads in shame. Surely we no longer need to ask the question, should we be guided by penal experts or by reactionary politicians on the make and backed up by the likes of Rupert Murdoch?

“MERRY CHRISTMAS” THAT WILL COST YOU THE TAX PAYERS OF RENFREWSHIRE £3,500 COURTESY OF THE SNP.

 The full council meeting of Thursday 20/12/12 started very well with a choir of primary school children from Erskine who were the best choir I have seen or heard from primary school kids ever,

they were brilliant and produced a level of sophistication rarely seen in kids so young. Their confidence, their timing and their mastery of two part medley were obvious proof of their talent and the ability of the 2 teachers who were with them and whose names I can't remember but well done to all of them.

 Then it was on to the unnecessarily hard chore of the meeting, hard and unnecessary for reasons I will come to. Any attempt at seasonal good will was; in a premeditated way destroyed by the actions of the snp who set out to create as much bad feeling and ugly behaviour as they could come up with and believe me they are experts at that. This time though as I will explain, you dear readers the Renfrewshire Tax payers were included in the misery courtesy of the snp who decided to greatly extend the meeting with the cost being met by you, Merry Christmas then from the Renfrewshire snp group aided and abetted as always by our resident pantomime villain the one and only Libdem councillor Eileen McCartin. She, in her usual manner contributed to the length of the meeting by insisting on having her say on everything. Whether what she has to say makes any sense, helps anyone or contributes in any way to the proceedings is neither here nor there, it matters not when Eileen decides that we need some of her wisdom. The fact that the people of Renfrewshire at the recent council elections humiliated her and reduced the rump party she leads to 1 seat out of 40 and the lowest share of the popular vote does not deter her, she remains impervious to everything but blows. She is a high profile Christian is Eileen and she limbered up for the coming of the baby Jesus by giving us a sermon on the benefits of the Libdem/Tory Governmment and all their cuts, their bedroom tax and the Herod like brutality of the Atos inspectors sending dangerously sick people back to work. I wonder if her Libdem/Tory Government would have regarded that stable in Bethlehem as an extra bedroom and charged extra room tax for the child to be born. 

 "We don't care whose son you say you are having young lady that will be 14% more" 

 This snp mockery of a meeting lasted for six and a half hours, it normally takes less than 3 hours. The reason for this was the conduct of the snp who put down twelve motions, two or three is the norm. Approximately ten years ago I was given a figure of £800 an hour as the cost to run a full council meeting by the council's financial director, that cost would now be in excess of £1,000 an hour at least. This means the snp's self-indulgent stunt put up the additional and completely avoidable cost to you the tax payer by something in the region of £3,500 if we keep it at £1,000 an hour and it is probably more than that. We were treated to lectures on independence, building war ships, more statues for Renfrewshire (guess who pays?) and of course a robust defence of the Tory/Libdem Government and their cuts by the last of the Liberal Democrats, the neither liberal or democratic Cllr. Eileen McCartin and bear in mind dear reader you were paying for this. 

 snp leader Cllr. Lawson complained about the Chair not calling a lunch break which would have put your extra payment up by another £500 and he had this to say. "If you think that running the meeting without a break will put us off doing this again you are wrong, because we will be back to do it again"  You the tax payers of Renfrewshire should note that he doesn't know what the motions to council will be but he knows that they (the snp) will dream up some just like this time and they (the snp) will be back to do the same thing again, he doesn't say how often they will do this and he clearly has no concern for the costs of this shameful snp behaviour, behaviour that you the tax payers of Renfrewshire will have to pay for. I wonder if voters might like to tell councillors what they think of this snp/Libdem behaviour, we are not difficult to find. The local press is also a good way of venting your spleen at such outrageous and costly behaviour. 

It's an snp mystery right enough, like Bruce’s Spider, the imaginary William Wallace and who stole oor Wullie’s bucket?.

Over the past couple of days, Friday/Saturday I have been arguing and trading insults with some rather unpleasant snp people who seem to have their base at the University of the West of Scotland.

They
are running a debate about independence and they thought it would be a good idea to start advertising the debate by insulting people who will be at the debate who do not agree with them, particularly Labour MSP Jackie Baillie. They also say they want to start a debating society at the Uni. although "come along to the UWS debating society and be intimidated and insulted by the snp students" does not seem like a good way of getting things started. The contributions of Mr. Andrew Ballantyne who seems to be a kind of hanger on with the students are particularly illuminating; he is rather like A Scottish "Bullingdon Boy" who claims to be the owner of two businesses despite being unable to string a sentence together.

Guess what? Today Sunday, I find that the correspondence has disappeared! vanished in the "Scotch. Mist" I have no idea why this has happened and who is responsible but I would not blame the snp mob if they wanted to prevent any more people from seeing what passes for discussion and debate between them. I would be delighted if whoever took it down though would explain why; or put it back, the people deserve to see this.

Today Monday and the snp chaps and chapesses who man the 'freedom for Scotland" barricades at the UWS still have not responded to my plea to have the correspondence put back and to resume hostilities with me, am I that scary? can they possibly be feart? where have they gone? They sounded so tough and bullish as well, are these the people who want to become independent? Who want to kick out the Engurlish from their Grannie's Heilan Hames, who want to liberate every But n Ben from the settlers and colonists (topical point there) The geeks who want to rewrite history and exclude Engurland's magnificent World Cup win? What can I say? I am utterly crushed, to think someone could think so little of me as to say such things about me, and we Scots. famous for our friendliness as well, ochone, ochone Calum, ochone ochone. A guy has written to me after my computer lost one of his posts. He sounds like one of the snp tough guys, he is a creepy character called Calum Orr, if that's his real name? That's all he tells me before he lets rip with the insults, nothing else about himself does he say. I have a message for you Calum (nice teuchter name eh?) a real braveheart aren't you. If I wanted to say anything like that to someone I would say it not write it.

In the columns of the Herald there is a debate going on about independence, you can comment on articles and letters etc. on the NET. I urge you to do so.
If you do, prepare to be gobsmacked, you will have your eyes opened as you see firsthand what the snp/separatist/cybernats are really like. The passage reproduced below is an uncut comment sent to me by one of their leading lights at least that's how he sees himself, his name is Robert Dickson and he decided to write to me at my blog in terms which the Herald would have put a red line through. I will make no other comment than to say this is not a joke this really is one of the yes campaign's self appointed stars. He reminds me of a guy standing on a castle rampart shouting about "farting in the general direction of his enemy and shouting that his mother smelled of elderberries"

Just the most fleeting of visits to your atrocious, bile filled diatribe that passes for a blog, Terry. 
In order to point out that it has not gone completely unnoticed that you are so devoid of the ability to argue a case and are living in such fear of rebuttal that you have gotten into the habit of waiting a couple of days to post replies on various threads at the Herald after you think them dead.
This may make you feel better about yourself and may even allow you to believe that you are fooling anyone into thinking that you have won the argument by having 'the last word' but you are mistaken.
All it actually does is confirm that you are devoid of any capability to argue a case, a point or do anything other than post rather tediously unfunny jibes at posters or politicians.
In all your 'contributions' to date you have not made one, just one single substantive constructive point.
Your posts consist of nothing but one line repetitious guff.
I notice that the moderator seems to work overtime with your efforts......unsurprisingly.
I can actually feel the waves of frustration emanating from you at being required to act in anything resembling a civilised manner towards other individuals.

Why not move to the Scotsman forum?
The idiocy, aggression, and stupidity on display there would be far more in tune with your limited abilities.

In closing Terence, I am a lifelong socialist and trade unionist, but you and people like you are the reason I left the labour party.
