Robbing a bank requires the use of weapons and the willingness to inflict physical violence on the innocent; owning a bank means, er, owning a bank, what you do with it depends, like everything els ein life including being a Councillor, on your personal morality.
Hitherto, I have known that Brecht wrote rubbish plays and practiced hypocrisy at an Olympic standard - he prated about the freedom of the workers whilst chosing to live in East Berlin whilst sending his royalties to a Swiss bank! - but I hadn't realised just how thick he was.

More nails are being hammered in to their coffins all around the world as we speak but they did not get where they are without rat like cunning and venom. It will still take some time to defeat them, but it can and must be done.

Not really worth commenting on this much. I reckon Brecht’s reputation will survive your opprobrium though.
Well, his reputation will survive with you, Councillor, because you wouldn't recognise moral corruption if you trod in it!

The good Doctor's remarks pertaining to the difference between a louse and a flea come to mind!

Councillor, from the evidence,seems the Mad Fifer, together with Little Millie, was on the bridge when this particular iceberg appeared.
Big Ed would have been there, but was busy opening Barclays new Headquarters.

Absolutely. And Bob Diamond knew nothing because Big Gordon never told him. It is also a huge lie to suggest that banks donate to the Tory Party when the truth is that they give their money to labour.
This is why Labour want a public enquiry and the Tories want an independent parliamentary enquiry. There's not much gets past you Byeck.
