A SHYSTER, A CHARLATAN, A CHANCER OR PUT ANOTHER WAY A LIBDEM - DAVID LAWS, GOOD RIDDANCE.

08:00 am Sunday May 30th. 20 10 - Woke up to a chorus of hypocritical bleating in sympathy for the wretched David Laws, a pretentious conceited little sod full of self importance and a classic case of a politician who is quite happy to admit that he can be bought. Along with the other senior Libdems he sold his soul for ministerial office; he didn’t bat an eyelid as he jettisoned so called sacrosanct policies like Trident and PR to gain office under the Tories who knew instinctively that they were dealing with a spineless bunch of disingenuous chancers.

Listening to Paddy Ashdown singing the praises of this man and harping on about his integrity; his honesty; Ashdown for God’s sake! another creep who stands for nothing and is the last person to decide who has integrity and who doesn’t, perhaps he thinks that we suffer from some kind of collective amnesia and can’t remember his own squalid past. We now have a blast of voices who are trying to tell us that this little swindler has done nothing wrong and could have kept his job! absolute rubbish, they are trying to suggest he fell on his sword for the good of the country, aye right!

We know enough about this guy and his Libdem colleagues to know that they have no claim whatever to integrity and honour; they showed us that when they sold out to the Tories, to suggest that a man like Laws is “doing the right thing” and to claim that such a man is deserving of praise is an insult. To suggest as Vince Cable (another charlatan) does that he could have stayed on is a crude deception. If as is claimed he did nothing wrong and made no gain from his actions a man like Laws would never have walked; he does not do honourable; no Libdems do, he walked for one reason only, the grubby little shyster is guilty it’s that simple, good riddance to him.

Quite agree! The man should have been sacked, not given the resign option, but resign, he did.

Sadly, I can't name a single Labour minister who fell on his sword, can you?

Now if he had been a Labour shyster, charlatan and chancer...'Man of talent and integrity, hounded out by homophobic gutter press threats to smear him.'

You hypocrite, Kelly.

Purnell-Cook-Flint-Smith-Hughes-Watson-Blears-Short, I can vaguely remember Harold Wilson resigning over prescription charges when I was young, does that do or do you want me to research it.

Terry @ 13.11
Dear God...Lavender List Wilson, resigning over prescription charges..is that the best you can do? Other than Smith and Blears, who else on your list had an expenses problem?

Where are Jowell, Mandelson, Harman, Speaker Martin, Prescott, Straw, the heavy hitters?

Yes and what else did the Romans ever do for us then?

You did not specify expenses and if that is what you meant you are still wrong as you have admitted here, no Tories resigned, no Nationalists and this guy is the first Libdem to resign because he could not under the circumstances survive.

Home Secretary, along with PM, Chancellor and Foreign Secretary are the 4 “great offices of state” in our country, think again.

I fully expect you to shift the goalposts again in your next comment.

Terry, you disingenuous rascal, you knew I meant expenses!

And both Smith and Blears had to be dragged out kicking and screaming.

Laws, on the other hand, went immediately, with some dignity

You have walked right in to an embarrassing situation over resignations and now you want to lie your way out of it.

This guy Laws is a liar, a crook and a coward; he is attempting quite shamefully to wrap himself in the image of the persecuted homosexual; homosexuals who are now and have been in the past really persecuted must be squirming at his behaviour.

You call him “dignified” quite clearly Laws and you know very little and couldn’t care less about dignity.

Terry, if Cameron brings Laws back into Government - as Brown did with Mandelson - can we look forward to seeing you implode with indignation?

Byeck said...

Terry, you've gone all Stalinista again..Laws, a liar, crook, coward, pretending to be a persecuted homosexual!

Just like Mandelson, eh?

Cllr Terry Kelly said...

Another example of your stupidity; no one persecutes Mandelson he does the persecuting.

Cllr Terry Kelly said...

Mandelson never did anything like Laws it was totally different circumstances and he also treats his boyfriends with respect; Laws uses his as a cash cow; he is a grubby little sanctimonious fraud; I knew you would take to him.

Byeck said...

Terry, your post at 11.11pm:
'Mandelson treats his boyfriends with respect'

How can you possibly know that? You must be higher up the Totem Pole than I thought!

And you are so right about there being no comparison twixt Lord Mandelson and Mr Laws. I guess the title gave you a clue there!

I know; I know; I should have known you wouldn’t get it. You have developed a fetish about Mandelson haven’t you?

Byeck said...

Not a fetish, son...just plain, old fashioned, jealousy.

Terrence, this chap Law, it can't me one law for you and I, then another Law for Mr Law.

I hate when I hear the "homosexualcard" being used, I am sure that you will agree, not one of us has any interest in private life of Mr Law and his husband ( or Common law of) he was on the fiddle and that's the end of the matter, why are some of your redaers bringing in gaylord Peter Mandleson, this man is an insperasion to many of us and yes he does apear to treat his Brazilian boyfriend with resepct, why wouldn't he. I kept expecting the dreadful Councillor McCartin to through her comments into the ring, oh is that the Depute Leader of Renfrewshire Council that holds the grumby Nat coalition together.

The Nats and Lib-Dems are all the same, grumby snake oil bedddlers, "Taxi for Bill Perry".

Sorry Terance must dash and get back into my taxi, can't keep Cllr Bill Perry waiting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Cheers Mate
Have a good weekend.

Are you stalking him?

Not only did David Laws rob the money and ruthlessly use and abuse the Gay community but there was something else which happened which some have tried to say was trivial but; I think shows him up for the devious little rodent that he is.

Apparently a Labour MP or Minister left a note for the next treasury team which said “sorry there is no money left, good luck”

There is no need for me to elaborate here because Mr. Laws found it and ran to the Press with it to try to damage Labour further.

We are now left to consider what kind of politician with a double first honours degree from Oxbridge would do that or, did he not spot that it was a joke? As I said a sinister devious little rodent.

Byeck said...

Terry, Laws did not 'find' that childish note. It was left specifically for him, by Liam Byrne, 1st Class Hons., Manchester, Fulbright Scholar, MBA (Harvard)

Makes one doubt the value of an expensive education if it's not mixed with common sense, doesn't it?

And no more displays of your repressed homophobia, please.

Cllr Terry Kelly said...

It would appear that you ‘buy’ Laws explanation for his theft and you also agree with him that the ‘note’ was not a joke. There’s one born every minute.

Byeck said...

Me 'buy' Law's explanation?

Not really thought about it, but since you buy into Hamas logic, why shouldn't I believe Mr Laws?

At least he doesn't encourage gullible idiots like you, to strap on an exploding singlet a on the promise of an intro to 40 virgins

You haven’t really thought about Mr. Law’s explanation? Really? Dear me should I continue with you I wonder.
