Thank you to my SNP readers who have pointed out that the SNP have been in
power since 2008 not 2005 as I mistakenly said i.e. they have been in power for 8 years, this of course makes their record worse than what I first claimed, this is a statement
of fact.
In the 8 years since
2007 the budget for Scottish GP’s has been slashed by £1 Billion, another
statement of fact.
The NHS is a devolved
matter and is the preserve of The Scottish Parliament at Holyrood, that is
another statement of fact.
The SNP have let down, and are letting down, the people of Scotland in matters of the NHS. That is my
opinion, just saying ken?.

You do not publish comments that contradict your SNP bad mantra. Have you seen Labour endorse Conservative plans for CT cut? THAT IS A FACT cooncillor ( for how long? Wooooooo........!)
Medicaid for Israel and everyone else! That is international.
You do know that in 2005 Lieboor and the Lie- dumbs were in power in Holyrood and Lieboor on their own at Westminster
The MINORITY SNP government never started until 2007
But dinnae let ignorance and lies get in the road of you spouting complete tripe....

SNP been in power since 2007.
The Labour Party were in power in 2005 in Scotland.
SNP came to power in 2005 did they.....When you just cut and paste you make the same errors as the YTS journalists at the express.
Prancing Jack McConnell will be surprised he was in charge for 2 years of an SNP minority government.
If you can't even get the year right then clearly you have no clue.
Have you sent this to the wrong blog, we are discussing SNP cuts to the NHS here.

Can you explain this?.
Terry,
You make a great case for Independence. In real terms(the numbers you use) the Block grant from Westminster(your paymasters) has decreased 7.2% since 2010. This is of course where NHS Scotland funding is paid from.....
NHS spending in real terms in Scotland has in the same time only dropped 1%...In actual terms its went up 1Bn but thats another story.
I'll quote your old muckers at the Institute of Fiscal Studies...
“This is not a new pattern. Between 2002-03 and 2009-10 – years of plenty for public services rather than cuts – real-terms health spending per person grew by 29 per cent in Scotland compared with a 43 per cent increase across the UK as a whole.
“This was despite overall public service spending per person growing by a very similar amount in Scotland (26 per cent) and the UK as a whole (28 per cent).
“So it seems that historically, at least, Scottish governments in Holyrood have placed less priority on funding the NHS in Scotland (and more on funding other services) than governments in Westminster have for England.”
You'll note that Labour were in power up to and including first half of 2007.....

Thank you for pointing out that the SNP record on this matter is actually worse than I said, they managed to do the £billion to the Scottish Health Service damage in 8 years rather than 10.

You are of course correct - the SNP managed to do this damage in 8 years not 10. Thank you.

Thank you for pointing out my mistake and reminding us all that the SNP's record is actually worse than I said. They done the £1,000,000 damage to GP's in 8 years not 10.

That's correct my mistake. The SNP took only 8 years to do the £1,000,000 damage to GP's not 10 years as I said.

I know you in particular must find it difficult to believe that I can make a mistake but I can. I once thought I made a mistake before but on examination it was clear that I hadn't but of course it was a mistake to think that it was a mistake in the first place. Anyway thank you for pointing out that the SNP's record is actually worse than I stated. They managed to do this damage to GP's in 8 years not 10, well done.

Well you are nothing if not predictable eh? here come the deflections, the piles of figures, lies, damn lies and statistics, the usual signs that you have lost. My dilemma is familiar with you, do I trust you and the SNP or do I trust the GP's, it's a a tough one right?.
