On reading an interesting blog
called ‘Niko’s Bar’ I discovered the following story and investigated it. Fergus Ewing the
dismal snp MSP and Scottish Energy Minister and, more significantly, member of
the snp’s own Royal Family The Ewings has apparently and belatedly discovered
that the price of oil “now involves the most serious job situation Scotland has
faced in living memory” (Fergus Ewing).
Former
labour MP Brian Wilson writes “Can this be the same Fergus Ewing with whom I
took part in an energy debate in Aberdeen before the referendum when he
insisted that planning Scotland’s economic future on the basis of oil at $113
was not only prudent but – as the White Paper said – “cautious”?. It would
appear that Prince Andrew is not the only over promoted Royal beneficiary of
blatant nepotism. Queen Winnie Ewing, King Stewart, Prince Fergus, Princess Margaret
and Princess Annabelle have all at one time or another been employed and paid
for by the public as snp representatives. Not only representatives but cabinet
positions must be found for them as well if Queen Winnie demands it.
When
considering Fergus Ewing’s damascene conversion to the truth about oil as
acknowledged by the rest of the world Mr. Wilson recalls a public meeting where
he and Fergus Ewing argued about oil in of all places, Aberdeen and writes “I
looked back in the light of Mr Ewing’s apocalyptic change of tune to the
immediate aftermath of that encounter”. “As you might expect in Aberdeen,” I
wrote, “it was a knowledgeable audience and an authoritative voice from the
floor told him that the entire oil industry is working on a forward curve of
$90 a barrel. ‘Your numbers are not taken seriously. Your numbers are simply
wrong.’ Nobody demurred.”
Only
one conclusion can be drawn from this snp oil fiasco, either they are guilty of
telling a big big lie as Hitler famously advised or they are grossly
incompetent and unfit for office. The whole of Scotland dodged a bullet when it
voted NO, remember that when these people ask you to vote for them again.

Terry
It was this article by Michael white which alerted me to Mr Ewings TV car crash
(It was not an attractive or impressive performance)
seems an understatement to me

I happened to be on BBC2’s Daily Politics last week when the Scottish energy minister, Fergus Ewing, appeared and tried to stop the formidable Jo Coburn getting a word in sideways by making mostly tendentious claims about the oil price issue, serious for all us, but much more so for Scotland. It was not an attractive or impressive performance.
Fergus Ewing deliberately set out to avoid answering the interviewers questions by refusing to stop talking. It was crude and cowardly, he ran and hid, but he is a royal Ewing so the snp have to put up with him.
nepotism in politics is a disgraceful thing, how's your ex councillor daughter terry ?
what is this garbled nonsense about ? It is sometimes possible to discern your point amongst the rambling 'I hate wee eck and the scottish nazi crap' but this is indecipherable.
Why dont you just post i hate the snp every day and be done with it. God forbid you and your decrepit party should try putting forward a policy designed to be better than theirs and stick to it, why bother when you can just slag them? The new labour mantra, spin and smear, thanks Tony, look where it's left us.

If you can't figure out what this is about you must be a complete idiot.

My daughter who stood successfully for the council against my advice is fine. I did what I could to persuade her from running in the hope that I could prevent her from coming in to contact with people like you.
'Fergus Ewing deliberately set out to avoid answering the interviewers questions'
did you happen to see jim murphy on sunday politics this morning maybe you can answer for him, name three policy areas wHere scottish labour is different from the real labour party.
Bearing in mind that scottish labour is a non existent organisation ask the electoral commission.
Or as an alternative answer slag wee eck and the snp. you know you want to.

It seems your alternative to answering my points is to slag off Jim Murphy and the Labour Party.
'Queen Winnie's boay' Prince Fergus is now exposed as an enthusiastic 'Fracker' much to the anger of the snp's head of diplomacy Joan McAlpine, it's becoming good fun isn't it?.
'It seems your alternative to answering my points is to slag off Jim Murphy and the Labour Party.'
straight out of alistair campbells book of spin, don't answer anything just accuse your accuser of doing what you are doing.
so 1990's terry its 2015 bud and that's why your party requires the last rites.
i never slagged off jim murphy i pointed out that he was guilty of what you are acuusing ewing of, double standards.
you didn't answer the question either, name 3 policies of 'Scottish' labour which are not concurred with by london labour.
or just slag me and wee eck and the snp, your transparency is embarrassing.

I simply did what you did, ignored your points and attacked an snp individual and his party.
You missed the irony, no surprise there then.
You missed the irony, no surprise there then.
well done terry you made me laugh out loud.
and still no answers, look forget 3 policies give me two. or at least start with one there must be a single issue where the stance of the branch office differs from london.
The people have woken up Terry, remember your insistence that the pollsters dont get it wrong, you might want to have a look at the may 2015 polls for scotland.
What are your opinions on the Greek general election and the win by Syriza?

I'm not sure what you are getting at with your policies question, Scottish Labour have announced several new initiatives, just as we said we would.
Your damascene conversion to the reliability of the polls is only possible if you are a massive liar.

A beacon of hope.
