The snp,The Tories, the Libdems, the right wing gutter press, the whole reactionary establishment in fact are now coming to terms with the news that Mr. Stevie Deans the ex UNITE union convener at Grangemouth was in fact not guilty of the accusations made against him by those I have listed and many more. The old fashioned witch hunt which cost him his job and nearly destroyed his life was brutal and without mercy, unfortunately those guilty people will get off scot free when they should find themselves in court.
The UNITE union and it’s equally vilified leader Len McLuskie have been vindicated and their accusers have been exposed as liars and reactionary thugs, following a lengthy investigation the police have found no case to answer. There was no criminality involved, there was no law breaking and there was no interference with the selection process in the Falkirk Labour Party, some of whose members quite shamelessly and inexcusably joined the side of the anti union anti Labour hordes in an attempt to discredit Mr. Deans and UNITE, and indeed the Trade Union Movement. They are the infiltrators, the deviants, the ‘flinching cowards and sneering traitors’ we sing about when we sing the Red Flag, we are better without such people. The treatment of Mr. Deans by the company Ineos and the media was like a fascist purge and trust me, they will be back for another go, the company should be sued along with the news outlets who tried to destroy him. And disgracefully and unforgivably the snp were as opposed to the Grangemouth workers as any right wing capitalist yob could be, the snp are now bitterly opposed to the unions, the people of Scotland will not forget that, just as they will never forget that it was the snp who brought Thatcher to power.
From now on we should remember the case of Stevie Deans when these deceitful pious hypocrites lecture us about union abuses, they are the real abusers and we must never forget that, the class war between them and us has never gone away and behaviour like theirs guarantees that it still has to be fought. If you ever wonder about the strength of Tory and upper class determination to crush organised Labour consider the case of Arthur Scargill who today is still being stalked by them and being lied about some 30 years after the miner’s strike. This is because government papers have been released which unequivocally prove that Scargill was right when he made his claims about the intentions of Thatcher to close the coal industry down. The BBC announced in relation to the revelations “it looks as though Mr. Scargill may have been right after all” “may have been right”  this is the voice of class warriors who can’t bring themselves to utter the truth.

The old questions and causes are still with us and the fight remains fundamentally the same, do you want people like Cameron and Osborne to form our society in their image, poor people being treated like animals, wages being cut while rich bankers trouser millions in bonuses, civil liberties being eroded and much more?. If you don’t then be assured you will have to stand up and be counted, you will have to organise and become politically aware, you will have to fight. I choose my words carefully when I say this is a war, for us a just war and we have to win, it’s the future we are fighting for, remember “ye are many they are few” as the great poet Shelley said in support of the working classes, his words are as truthful now as they were when he wrote them in 18 19.

The SNP did not bring Thatcher to power, the English electorate did, as Scots never once vote for Thatcher's Government yet she was imposed on us anyway. Having UK Governments undemocratically imposed on Scotland despite us rejecting them at the ballot box is one of the "benefits" of the Union that you continue to defend.

Listen bozo when the snp caused the election which brought us Thatcher there were 11 snp MP'S after the election there were 2 so the people of Scotland obviously agreed with my version of events.

Scots did not vote for Thatcher neither did the English or Welsh or the NI we all voted in the same election including Scots. because it was a UK election and she won it.

Go and do some reading and come back when you are not such an uneducated clown.

Terry I find it odd that you omit the fact that the reason the SNP called a vote of no confidence in Callaghan's Government was because the Labour Party rigged the 1979 devolution referendum with their undemocratic 40% rule.

It is an indisputable fact that the Union brought Thatcher to Scotland, no Union = no Thatcher, yet you as a self proclaimed socialist are defending this system, why?

Byeck said...

Does Scottish Labours Deputy Leader, Anas Sarwar, enjoy your full support, Councillor?

I ask because he's joined the elite, sending his son to a private school, costing more per year than most of your constituents get to live on.

Come on, someone must have voted for her!

just a quick question Terry, given your hatred of the snp and the very idea of an independent Scotland making it's own way in the world, would you like to revisit your bookmaker pal and ask him why the odds on a yes vote have halved over the last three months, the bogeyman's coming Terry, are you lying awake at night with visions of Mr Salmond waving the saltire above his head at Holyrood on 19th September 2014 maybe it's best to pull the covers up over your head and keep chanting it canny happen it canny happen.

and as for this piece of tripe, when an organisation like the labour party investigates itself of course it's going to come out squeaky clean, lesson in life Terry, just because you are a disingenuous moron do not expect everybody else to be a moron as well, even the old women labour supporters are starting to realise how corrupt and right wing the labour party has become.
come out for the yes side Terry before it is too late to salvage any self respect at all.
By the way I only wish it was true that the SNP visited Thatcher upon us as she is the main reason the people of Scotland will vote yes to be an independent nation, so well done the SNP for playing the long game, the end justifies the means.

The election was caused by Labour not delivering on its promises and by the fact they had ran the country into the ground with strikes and fiscal suicide.

I remember the rubbish on the streets, grave diggers on strike, weekly power cuts and the days off school due to tanker drivers not delivering. Seems you forget this.

The Tories were voted in by the Hoi Poloi , as a Labour man I'm sure this is an inconvenience.

Scotland returned 22 Labour MP's in 1979 election out of 71 seats, whilst not a majority it was a big wedge.

The idea that Scotland didn't vote Tory in 79 is not entirely true.

It makes me laugh chuckle to see so called Labour men defending the Tories under the guise of internationalism...Two cheeks of the same arse these days.

The big issue for Terry and co is the orders from London must be followed. Never forget its the British Labour Party, financed(badly), controlled and
administered from London. There is no Scottish Labour, only British Labour.

What next for your Terry, a weekly guest column in the Daily Mail...

So the entirely bogus Labour for independence group pull another stunt and the usual clowns like you fall for it, they name 3 long forgotten Labour party people who may or may not still be members and each are now anti Labour anyway. No evidence is provided that those in attendance were Labour members or voters so we have to take the word of a bunch of people who were exposed as liars over the same issue before. Only idiots or liars will associate themselves with this garbage and you are both Mr/Ms anonymous.

Have you recovered from the last hammering on here then. It's nice that we can make each other chuckle isn't it. You will no doubt be feeling buoyed by your latest recruits from the right wing reactionary wing of the Scottish Tories, you will make a splendid sight when you all march together side by side with the Flemish Nazis as you did recently in Edinburgh. Time to go polish your jackboots.

I disagree with private education and any other ways of buying privilege. I find it much more unfair when I think about the vast amounts of money spent on private education by for instance by the Royal parasites to buy university degrees for their inbred half witted offsprings paid for by me and other tax payers. Mr. Sarwar is at least spending his own money.

You can still get 4 or 5 to 1 for your money and my bookmaker friend still hasn’t taken a penny on a yes result so I am not in the least worried. Cownbeath where Labour took 56% of the vote gave us a glimpse of what is going to happen and it was the third out of four parliamentary by elections won by Labour. In Motherwell North on the same night Labour won a council by election taking 68% of the vote making it 18 council by election defeats for the snp in a row. As for this investigation re Mr. Deans , if you withdraw your head from your arse you will find it was carried out by the police you moron. Meanwhile the last of the 5 super brains who were appointed to guarantee success for the separation campaign are ‘sleeping with the fishes’ and the campaign is unable and unwilling to publish their finances because they have none. All against a backdrop of the Bank of England telling salmond he will have to let go of even more power to join the Sterling Zone. I confess I’m not “bovered”.

You sure talk tough for someone who is too timid to give his name don't you? are you one of these 'bravehearts" ?

Running Man said...

I must have missed that last beating...

Its Labour who share a platform with the Tories these days, you are even standing up for Scots voting Tory. Saying how well Thatcher

Do you remember the gravediggers strikes Terry ?

You are clearly a sniveling idiot but I will give you a chance to explain what Labour did that was illegal or undemocratic, go ahead.

It was the snp who forced the election which brought Thatcher to power. In the ensuing election the 11 snp MP'S were reduced to 2 by the Scottish people who showed the snp what they thought of their treachery. You are a bunch of Quislings and would sell your grannies for your own benefit.

Running Man said...

Nothing to do with Labour mishandling the unions and the economy or Labour re-naging on deals made with the Nationalists.

It would appear in your mind that a vote by the electorate is something to feel guilty about when in retrospect you don;t like the result.

Bottom line is the people spoke, you somehow expect me to feel bad about that given how buggered up Labour had allowed the country to become.

Thatcher was an unmitigated disaster for Scotland, It was Labour who lost the election to her, not the SNP.

Lost due to losing trust with the Unions who owned the party.

You retire every now and then to lick you wounds which you receive on here don't you.

Even by snp standards you are a spectacularly dumb assed character aren't you. Both sides of the laugharendum debate have political opponents lined up on their side and that includes Nazis and Tories lined up with the snp.

I remember the gravediggers strikes and I also remember the hatred shown then by the snp and the tories for the unions and their members involved in those strikes. A hatred which in the case of both the tories and the snp has grown ever stronger and more poisonous since as displayed by salmond and the snp at Grangemouth. You are Scotland's shame.

Repeating lies will never make them true.I feel lots of things about election results but never guilt.

I don't expect anyone to feel bad about winning but I do expect people to feel bad about attacking trade union members for defending their rights like salmond and the snp do while lying about being Scotland's party.

Labour lost the election to Thatcher, I have never said otherwise. You are clearly a shoddy liar what I have said is the snp caused the election, which they did and I also say that Thatcher whom you now deviously call "an unmitigated disaster" was referred to by alex salmond as follows "we Scots did not mind Mrs. Thatcher's economic policies so much".

You are now a party of the English Monarchy, supporters of nuclear weapons through NATO, crawlers to the Bank of England and prepared to hawk large tracts of a separate Scotland to the highest bidder for military purposes including England as well as begging the UK to let you build there war ships for them.
The snp are a laughing stock and you are a spineless coward for letting them away with it.

Running Man said...

I'm not Salmond and unlike you I can deviate from Party lines. There are a number of areas where my personal views differ from the SNP. Where we don't disagree is that Scotland would be best served governing itself.

Labour also support nuclear weapons as long as others have them. May as well say you support them in case of alien invasion. The realpolitik of it is that Labour are supporters of Nuclear power and of being in a Nuclear alliance.

Your arguments that SNP vision is somehow unworthy is hilarious in that you personally prefer the status quo. Where nothing changes except Labour and Tories get closer and switch ends every 8-12 years.

You are ruled by English monarchy, 700+ Lords a leaping plus what 500 English MPs...SNP plan is not in my view ideal but its a step in the right direction. You just want more of the same but somehow have issue with those who seek progressive change, you seek no change.. Where is the fun in that.

The election was triggered as Labour lost the confidence of the people, you know the ones you politicians work for. To say otherwise is rather infantile. Its not the last fag you smoke or the last pie you ate that kills you.

Labour lost the vote as it had renaged on lots of promises.

As to my infrequent visits here, I have a full time job so I can only be a part time confidant for you.

Sorry about that.

Cllr Terry Kelly said...

Running Man said...

You don't have an original thought in your head and you never have had since I first came across you. You and the rest of the snp flock are salmond.

Labour do not support nuclear weapons nor does anyoone else you are either too dumb to see that or you are which is more likely a liar. I support nuclear power as part of our energy mix and the snp are in fact supporters of NATO which, the last time I looked were a nuclear weapons organisation.

AS far as change is concerned I agree with Leon Trotsky who said "the only constant is change" and that is a good thing as long as it's change for the better which rules out separation.

The snp support the English Monarchy and Labour support the abolition of the Lords. Everyone seeks progressive change, even the snp claim that.

The election if you are talking about Thatcher was triggered by the snp supporting the Tories and the people of Scotland supported my version of those events as they demonstrated by reducing the snp traitors from 11 seats to 2.

If you write back please try to include something original, I am getting extremely bored swatting you like a fly.

Labour Party leaked document.....around Falkirk. I sthat original enough for you.

If Labour want to abolish Lords then why have they not and why do they keep stuffing Lords with fodder like Foulkes

“Conclusion 2: “There is evidence that members were recruited without their knowledge.” That is supported by evidence. The Labour party’s investigator gathered evidence from at least three people saying they were unaware that they had been recruited before they were contacted by the party.

But a subsequent party investigation has cleared anyone of any wrongdoing on the grounds that the party memberships were bought as a gift, which is within the rules.”

The Labour Party decided that there was no case to answer, you typically are not prepared to accept that, you prefer leaked documents reported on by Tory/snp papers. You really are useless.

Labour's policy is to abolish the Lords, if it were possible to do that tomorrow we would do it, maybe it's more complicated than a simpleton like you and the rest of the snp fodder can grasp.

Do you ever wonder why these stories are never backed up by showing us the evidence?, too complicated for you again is it?.

There was no breaking of any rules, you are being taken to the cleaners by the right wing media and you are an idiot to start with, they can't lose with clowns like you around.

Not sure that passes the sniff test Terry. No real Lords reform since 97-99. All those years of power and just removed a handful of hereditary peerages who are probably personally still there.

Labour policy is Lords 'Reform' not abolition.

I haven't quite see the bit about your monarchy reform in any 'official' BlueLabour policy or press releases. I'm guessing you are going off piste there.

We're talking about British Labour party ,HQ London.

Cllr Terry Kelly said...

Running Man said...Wednesday, February 12, 2014 4:35:00 pm

Labour are the only party who will get rid of the Lords and, a democratically elected chamber if that's what happens would be abolition. The last time the snp conference debated the future of The House of Lords the abolitionists won by less than one percent so that anti Lords high horse you are on is leaving a trail of shit behind you.

My reference to the Monarchy was designed to highlight the hypocrisy of an avowedly anti Royalist party (the snp) can be bullied without demur in to accepting the Queen by one single member "salmond".

You seem to think there is some significance in Labour's headquarters being located in the world's greatest city London but, I reckon that is because your parochialism makes you backward and timid.

You ought to consider how many snp members actually support the Lords, the last time the snp conference debated the Lords the abolitionists won the vote by less than 1% so almost half supported the Lords. I would imagine that people like the snp Royal family The Ewings would cut your throat to get dressed up in ermine as would Mike Russell and many more. Big snp Supporters like Sean Connery, Brian Cox and Brian Souter debased themselves before the British Queen for a few glittering baubles did they not?.

How long are you going to go on lying to yourself?.
