The crazy snp bean counters have been hoping that the questions about currency would go away; even they; mad as they undoubtedly are should be getting the message now which is that it is going nowhere. It continues to get more difficult for them to avoid answering significant questions and there are a lot more to come. The bug eyed separatists are now publicly disagreeing with one another on the currency and it can of course get very ugly when thieves fall out, the ferrets are limbering up to get in to the sack. John Swinney wants a currency union that he cannot guarantee, while Yes Scotland board member and political 'titan' Patrick Harvie wants a new currency.
Where will it all end? I hear you ask, if you were to set out to build a template of a nonentity you would come up with a hybrid of Swinney and Harvie, have you ever seen a so called major politician so out of his depth as the former and one so utterly phony as the latter. A shell of a man Swinney and a chancer Harvie who inhabits a sham position because of the bizarre vagaries of the political system which put him where he is, a man who has truly "risen without trace".
They are part of a lightweight and inadequate consortium who are now starting to disintegrate, "Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold" (WB Yeats) I ask again; will the wee demented spiv Salmond find a way of calling off the referendum charade to avoid humiliation?
