How big a story is the Murdoch hacking scandal? I have been around in political terms for approx 45 years and I think it could well be up there with Profumo, Princess Diana, Peter Manuel and Mo Johnston signing for Rangers etc. in no particular order and it still has to run for a while.
Everyone has an opinion on it except the most opinionated person in Scotland, Alex (the spiv) Salmond who mumbled a couple of predictable platitudes about it and then went uncharacteristically shtum. Scotland's greatest ever 'ambulance chaser' has been struck dumb on this massive issue. He seems to be determined to maintain a 'Trump' like silence over it. Can anyone have a stab at wondering why?
His intellectual giant of a Justice Minister; the fool MacKaskill has also been maintaining a monastic silence over this, can anyone understand it? I look forward to hearing from you.

Can't you look at any issue without bringing your sectarian outrage at someone other Labour holding power in Scotland into it?
Is this why you were once described-on the Tom Paine blog, I think-as the stupidest man in cyberspace?

I think you will find that there are a whole lot of people out there asking the same questions about the (spiv) Salmond as I am. That makes it look like you might be the one with the sectarian problem, think about it.
I am no fan of Tommy Sheridan but the facts are that News International lost a very high profile civil law case and it cost them hundreds of thousands of pounds in costs alone never mind the £200k to TS in damages.
Although virtually unheard of in Scots law Sheridan was investigated and prosecuted for perjury in a criminal court. If newspaper reports are correct it was at a cost of over £2million in taxpayers money.
News International were the only organisation to benefit from this so i'd like to know if wee eck or McAskill were lobbied by NI or if anyone in the procurator fiscals were placed under pressure by politicians to pursue this criminal case and also explain how it was in the public interest to take this course of action.
Then maybe you've got a fairly restricted bunch of pals, Terry. In all the conversations I've had about the hacking scandal Salmond hasn't been mentioned. Outside Paisley Labour Club, I don't think it's a big talking point.
Sorry for teasing you about the Tom Paine blog, though. That was a cheap shot.

I tend to agree with what you say here, I’m looking forward to more revelations but I doubt if Salmond is.

In the great scheme of things it’s not the biggest talking point but in the Brigadoon world of Scotland it is. Do you have access to the Internet, Google? I’m hardly a computer expert but I can find references to it quite easily.
Don’t worry about teasing me that kind of “cheap shot” kind of reminds me I’m winning. Anyway I can’t be angry at what someone says about me if I don’t know who that person is and when I don’t know who the person is that kind of reminds me as well that I’m winning.
The animosity against which Marxoid Irish Papes like you harbour, in UK, for any Nationalism other than that which was successfully engendered by blowing up innocent non-Irish people up is extremely admirable.
The BNP need the services of violent revolutionaries like you.
I'm sure Gerry Adams and that other Martin Mc G moron would agree

I find these comments fascinating. On the one hand they sound aggressive, angry and driven by sectarianism but on the other hand the author is too frightened to identify himself which is really rather cowardly.
Anyway to get back to the post, can you comment on why the SNP and their (spiv) of a leader Salmond has gone uncharacteristically quite, from the yapping wee Scottie dog to the dog who refused to bark, any answers?
Alex Salmond really needs to consider his position. It's time for him to go.

Salmond (the spiv) is the safest party leader since Hitler because his party members are cowards.
