WE ARE THE KICK ASS YANKS!
Is my understanding of the siege where the young Scottish aid worker lost her life correct? Did her American rescuers actually throw a grenade into the place where she was being held captive? Am I getting this wrong? Was Robert Duval leading the raid wearing a US Cavalry hat?

When people comment on your posts and mention civilian deaths in Iraq and the decision to go to war - you scream that they disgust you, that they should be ashamed to use human death and suffering to make a political point. Well what are you doing here? Seems like your using her sad demise as a stick to hit the American Army with (and as far as I am aware we don't know the full truth yet). Furthermore you then make a very misguided and foolish attempt to add humour to your post. As usual I am bewildered by your confused double standards and this time also offended too by your unbelievable insensitivity.

“As usual I am bewildered by your confused double standards and this time also offended too by your unbelievable insensitivity”
Since a spokesman for the British special forces as well as a great many other commentators have echoed my sentiments you must be a very “confused and and offended” person or what is more likely you are simply a liar.
What happened was a tragedy for the soldier concerned and for the people who died including the young Scottish woman. I would have made these remarks about any rescue attempt by anyone who throws a grenade into the place where the victim is being held.
Once again we have someone exploiting the victim and it's not me.
"any rescue attempt by anyone who throws a grenade into the place where the victim is being held."
And you know for sure, before the official report is issued, that the soldier concerned knew that the hostage was in that room, do you, Councillor? You must share your sources with us one of these days!

“When trying to rescue a hostage one thing you do not do is throw in a grenade” British S.A.S. Spokesman.
I haven’t heard anyone from any source suggesting that they knew she was 'not' in there: they therefore seem to have thrown in a grenade at the very least not knowing where she was, am I getting that right?
You really must stop making things up if you try reading my post without the obvious bias which blinds you, you will see that I did not state that the grenade was thrown knowing that she was in there.
My post contains 4 questions and not one statement a statement would be something like this ‘you are an idiot’
If someone inside the room fires out through the door you most certainly do throw in a frag grenade, unless you're Councillor Terry Kelly, of course, and are thus protected by self-esteem several inches thick - er, with the emphais on 'thick'!
The fact is, Councillor, you know next to nothing of the circumstances but opening your mouth and letting your belly rumble without knowledge is default mode for you.

So the S.A.S. as well as the American forces who are apologising are wrong then? David Duff has spoken. You just don’t know when to stop digging do you.
“Councillor, you know next to nothing of the circumstances”
I only know what I have read and seen on the news, now concentrate here, that is why I don’t make accusations or statements, that is why I ask questions, F.F.S. are you really that thick? where are the accusations/ statements that you accused me of making.
Of course, the military are apologising, a hostage was killed in an attempted rescue operation, what else would you expect them to do? However, on the details of exactly what happened you, and I, know next to nothing. An individual soldier might have made a mistake, or, he might have been doing what he was trained to do and unwittingly killed the hostage. A sensible and judicious observer would simply remain silent until the facts are known. But not you, Councillor!
"where are the accusations/ statements that you accused me of making."
Here:
"Did her American rescuers actually throw a grenade into the place where she was being held captive? Am I getting this wrong? Was Robert Duval leading the raid wearing a US Cavalry hat?"
Placing a weasel question mark at the end of two inflamatory sentences does not get you off the hook, and the sight of you scurrying fast into cover to avoid the 'incoming' you deserve is not a pretty sight. As it happens, all I accused you of was "opening your mouth and letting your belly rumble without knowledge", an assertion which any fair-minded reader of this blog would find unexceptional.

“on the details of exactly what happened you, and I, know next to nothing”
Where have I said anything different you idiot!
“A sensible and judicious observer would simply remain silent until the facts are known”
I suppose then there must be a huge amount of senseless and injudicious people out there since every news medium in this country and probably America and even elsewhere are discussing the matter. We are of course all wrong as David Duff has spoken, you idiot!
“"Did her American rescuers actually throw a grenade into the place where she was being held captive? Am I getting this wrong? Was Robert Duval leading the raid wearing a US Cavalry hat?"
Can you find anyone, anyone at all who is prepared to say that these are not 3 questions? You idiot!
F.F.S. can you not learn how to lose with some dignity? Stop wasting my time and making a fool of yourself, you idiot!
