MacAskill & Alex (the spiv) The Merciless SNP Jailers.

The SNP can always be relied on to periodically show their incompetence and arrogance; in the case of the Libyan Abdelbaset al Megrahi they are now demonstrating a callousness and opportunism which is nauseating. If as the medical experts tell us he has been terminally ill for 2 years and his deterioration has been closely monitored all this time then there can be no reason for the sickening game of cat and mouse being played out by Kenny MacAskall Alex (the spiv) Salmond and the SNP Government.

At the time of his diagnosis he still had approx. 20 years to serve yet here we are 2 years on apparently still unable to take action when he is nearing death; quite frankly Alex (the spiv) this is a sick cynical stunt too far; we have watched over the years as you shamelessly stitched yourself to the Dunblane massacre; the drowned fishermen; the dead Scottish soldiers and their families. Even stitching yourself to an annual charitable donation from your other unearned wage using your late mother’s name, it would appear that no one is sacred to you are they? Or maybe people in your constituency didn’t make the link between you and the name Salmond on the charity, as Billy Connolly once said about another charitable fellow; " he gave money away as quietly as a waiter falling down stairs with a large tray of drinks" What’s the point of donating to charity if people don’t know you are doing it right?

We have had more than enough time to work out what should happen to Mr. Megrahi without this grubby 3 ring circus designed to keep you; MacAskill and the SNP in the world news. There is no excuse for your actions and you are bringing shame on all of us. The question of Megrahi’s guilt or innocence is no longer an issue here; precedent has it that a prisoner who is terminally ill and has in the opinion of doctors less than 3 months to live should be released on compassionate grounds, Megrahi ticks all the boxes; this should have been prepared long ago; he should have been released by now, you have no excuse for perpetuating this cruel charade; no matter how much Salmond (the spiv) MacAskill and the SNP enjoy the feeling of importance which comes with world wide publicity, the stain on their characters and on the character of Scotland will haunt everyone of us for a long long time.

Terry, remember that Capitalist Swine, Guiness's Ernest Saunders and his 'Lawdy it's a miracle' recovery from the dementia that saved him from a spell in chokey?

Well, far be it from me to be cynical about one of Gadaffi's Finest,but.....do you think...is it possible?

Saunders was a swine and part of the rotten British establishment who protect their own; I am convinced that Megrahi is sick OK.

Mind you I feel pain at having to say bad things about anyone who is responsible in any small way for the creation of the world’s greatest drink “the Liffey water”

The issue I have with Alex Salmond is that, as far as I know, he refused to reconvene parliament to debate this whole debacle.
I'm afraid I disagree with Megrahi's release. Kenny MacAskill claimed justice had been served, and that we should now show mercy. Megrahi had no such consideration for his 270 vistims and their families. Justice, to my mind, dictates that he remain in prison for the rest of his life. Medical care for the duration of his life, in my opinion, is mercy enough. Keeping Megrahi in prison would not have been compromising our values, provided he was adequately fed, watered and appropriately treated for his medical condition. Setting him free is frankly an insult to the families of those whose life he mercilessly took without hesitation or repentance.

Are we about to see an apology from terry?

Is Terry about to choke on his own venom?

is Terry about to praise Alex the spiv?

tune in and find out only dont hold your breathe as he is a sycophhantic creep when his own party leader is joining with Hilary and the rest of the right wing in demanding the man rot in jail. no humanity, no compassion and no hope.

I agree we've had long enough and God knows I'm probably the last person the SNP would pick to fight their corner but this is no time for party politics. There isn't a UK party who hasn't behaved shamefully at some point towards Al Megrahi.

If that man was involved at all (which I doubt) he's been a very minor player. The best thing that could happen now is the full release of all papers relating to the Lockerbie atrocity and a full inquiry into the events that night. I'd like to think this is something that would find cross party support but knowing how politics works I won't hold my breath.

Well the 'merciless SNP Jailers' have let him go home to die with his family. Your Party are now attacking this rather bold move.

It seems you are dammed if you do and dammed if you don't.

I can’t agree with keeping a dying man behind bars.
“Megrahi had no such consideration for his 270 vistims and their families”
Assuming he did do it; how do you know this?

I believe that the SNP have cynically used this man and the whole issue to further their own ends and it is now backfiring on them. I don’t believe what Ian Grey has said is truthful.
I would like a full public enquiry as well.

I don't know why he was released but if you think that it was down to the compassion of MacAskill and Salmond (the spiv) then 'sycophantic creep' does not do you justice.

The SNP have used this deteriorating man and put him through mental torture for their own ends; the whole revolting circus was not necessary, he was going to be released anyway although we don’t know why.

MacAskill and (the spiv) dragged every ounce of publicity they could from it 'merciless’ doesn’t really suffice.

Strange, Sanders crime was cash driven while the Libyan was found guilty, in open court, of blowing nearly 300 innocents out of the sky, yet the Kelly sympathy goes to the Libyan.

Money more important than lives in your book Kelly?

“Strange, Sanders crime was cash driven”
Why is conning the authorities into releasing you early from prison on bogus medical grounds cash driven?

I think the Libyan is genuine still I could be wrong along with the doctors; consultants etc. who have been treating him.

Anonymous said...

Oh dear Kelly, I said Sanders offence was cash driven,NOT his release!

So tell us, why is your loathing reserved for the fraudster and your sympathy for a convicted mass murderer?

And here’s me thinking you were comparing the two because they both got released on compassionate grounds; when you make a complete a**e of yourself you should try a wee bit of dignity; this just makes you look even more stupid.

My loathing is reserved for the fraudster because he lied and his position in society clinched his release, while Megrahi IMO is telling the truth. The fact that he may or may not be a mass murderer does not interest me the fact that he faced dying in prison does.

Dear God - 'The fact that he may - or may not - be a mass murderer does not interest me.'

I think it ought to interest you, Coucillor, I really do.

Cllr Terry Kelly said...

Low blow here; the crime and the length of time served in this case are not relevant; the principle of compassionate release for a dying man is what concerns me; were he not dying there would be no question he should stay in prison.

Kelly, you said 'Sanders was part of the establishment.'

Sanders was born in Austria and his parents fled the country - with him - to escape the Nazis.

That makes him an unlikely establishment figure, but, hey Big Man, dont let facts get in the way of your prejudices.

Cllr Terry Kelly said...

You clearly don’t understand the establishment
there are 2 ways in either you are born in to the right family or marry in like Prince Philip and other royal flunkies or you become very rich. (Ariel) 18:04
