COMMENTS ON SUMS

This item is over - I've given it a good run, I received a comment from someone who suggested that Pinochet was preferable to Allende, I think that's enough. Mr. Hutchison of the SNP insists that the SNP are not anti English, that's surely enough of that as well. Our old friend rightforscotland remains convinced of the benefits of a flat tax he is consistent but wrong and our exchange has seen us both moderating our language, I must be getting old, he does however promote the most awful, squalid blogs, stuff to make your skin crawl, that worries me. Anyway as this is the last comment on this subject I will say again. I believe that the rich should pay more than the poor that means a larger percentage of their income should go in tax, I think that that, makes us more civilised, the end.

I hope now that you will now, as I asked earlier in the post that you have chosen not to put up, apologise for claiming that the SNP are anti-English. We both know that this is false.

I would go so far is to say that in the Scottish Parliament we are very fortunate that all of our MSPs (regardless of party) are not racist or display intolerance of any nationality, ethnic group or religious persuasion. This can not be said of all legislatures and I think its a testament to all the parties and also the people of Scotland that parties that profess racist bile are defeated time and again in elections across our country.

Will you now retract you accusation that the SNP is anti-English and apologise for making such a remark?

davie hutchison, I didn't put it up because it's risible, the SNP are first and foremost anti English, because you deny it doesn't mean it's not true,Of course it's no longer the English enemy it's 'our masters down south' or 'London rule' it's the same anti English whinging that decent Scots are embarrassed by. I note that you embrace all parties in your own kind of rainbow alliance of goodness, well you can leave me out. I want nothing to do with a party which is guilty of homophic bigotry, that's your party the SNP. Think about Rosanna Cunningham voting against gay adoption, Fergus Ewing rushing to defend the Cowcaddens fire fighter gay bigots and your party's official business links to the self declared homophobic bigots of the Mormon Brigham Young University who stand accused in a Holyrood motion of driving gay students to suicide. How can you look at yourself in the mirror ? Your party is a disgrace to Scots everywhere.

Is the Labour Party not funded by the unions the backed the firemen at Cowcaddens?

Mr. Kidd the FBU have brought shame on themselves by backing homophobic bigotry, just like the SNP - I note your cowardice in avoiding comment on the actions of your MSP's Ewing and Cunningham and your party's shameful association with the American bigots of Brigham Young University - You seem to be typically spineless in the face of these accusations.

I have no problem criticising Fergus's and Roseanna's stances on these issues.
They are personal viewpoints that do not reflect party policy.
I cant comment on the Brigham Young issue as I don't know anything about it.

I have to say I was very disappointed with Roseanna's proposed amendments, which I`m happy to say were defeated. Of course she wasn`t alone in placing such amendments (equally unacceptable), according to today's Herald a couple of Labour MSPs behaved similarly. Your comments about students from Brigham Young University are disappointing as without knowing any of these students you have branded them all with one viewpoint.

I note you still have not apologised for accusing the SNP for being 'anti-English'. I have to say I was hoped that by now you would have seen sense.

What's your view on your fellow Cllr who has recently resigned from the Labour party and his alleged morality?

Cllr Terry Kelly said...

The Herald says one Labour MSP not a couple, are you really that insecure? my comments were about BYU and your party's links to them have you a problem defending that? The SNP was created out of anti Englishness and it's still the same, you are in denial about this. Your comments about the Cllr. who resigned puts you exactly where your party is most comfortable, in the gutter. Come to Renfrewshire and see the SNP mob and then tell us about morality.

I try to avoid those who are anonymous but! Roseanna + Fergus + BYU adds up to a pattern. For your info the SNP are involved in employing students from BYU This scandal was exposed some time ago and to my knowledge they are still at it. An SNP MSP Mr. Adam who is a mormon is the catalyst for this, BYU are openly homophobic, google them and read their stuff. They have been accused in a Holyrood motion of driving young people to suicide, check it for yourself. In this matter as in others the SNP are a disgrace and an embarrassment to decent Scots everywhere.

Anonymous Andrew Kidd your lack of diligence is a typical SNP trait, a wee bit more work and you could have found out that the FBU are not affiliated to Labour before making a fool of yourself, again.
