MAY 3RD. VOTE LABOUR

It looks like it's between Labour and the SNP and I think we are doing much better than the polls are saying, I'm quietly confident.

I won't rehearse the arguments again here, suffice to say that the SNP have been challenged repeatedly to explain where they will get the money to cover their spending proposals and have failed to do so, so beware.

My final point is this, what candidate worth their salt would allow their name to go forward with the name of the party leader on every ballot paper ie Salmond, it's an insult to every SNP candidate, it says that they are not up to the job without him, it also shouts loudly that they are a one man band.

Having asked lots of people lately to name someone else in the SNP no one managed to do so - Pathetic isn't it ? VOTE LABOUR

  1. Pathetic?
That the people you consort with have never heard of Nicola Sturgeon, does seem pretty pathetic all right. Don't they take any interest in Politics?

  2. I didn't realise we had a Euro-election on this time and that the Poles were given the opportunity to vote :)

Other people in the Gnats: Nicola, Swinney, and the remaining Ewing ... Oh and Connery, Mathewson, Farmer and Soutar.

I think it rather shouts that the massive unpopularity of Scottish Labour, rather than poor-wee-Jack, has given them an ideal opportunity for a direct and pointed attack. Of course, you could say that they see their leader as an electoral advantage rather than a millstone around the corporate neck.

    Have a happy Thursday.

  3. Hiya,
I was wondering if you're still dishing out those free passes for the shows?

If I promise to vote Labour can I get a couple?

    What a treat!

  4. anon - 'pathetic' I'm talking about people on doorsteps and at the Labour stall at Paisley Cross over the past 4 Saturdays - The general public, who did you think I meant ?

    ReplyDelete
  5. S-E - so, you know these names, the general public don't, that's because the SNP is full of nonentities who have to have Salmond's name on their ballot paper.

I think that you will find that the gay bashing bigot who has just re-joined and funded the SNP (his natural home) is Souter with an 'e' congrat's, you have just dragged me down to your level.

  7. jackart - 'Vote Labour' I know that there are lots of things said on blogs certainly on mine which are rather nasty to say the least but, let me genuinely say thank you for this post.

  8. Come on, can't you get us into the shows for free Terry?

  9. Carnival Kid - ha ha you've got me, banged to rights OK.

It cost me a fortune to pay for that fairground to come to my ward just at election time, and now you've gone and spotted it, there's no fooling you is there ?

We did this last year as well and was great fun, without the election.

  10. What will you be doing if you lose the locals Terry?

  11. anon - 'get you in for free' It was for primary school kids so you certainly sound as if you would qualify but alas they are gone, you'll have to wait for the next election.

If I'm re-elected I'll bring them back again, it's money well spent and I can afford it.

  12. fido - I'm not sure what you mean by 'lose the locals' but if I lose the election I will carry on with the struggle.

It's all about having something meaningful and worthwhile in your life, you wouldn't understand.

  13. if I lose the election I will carry on with the struggle.

    Which struggle is that?

To get a Cuban style democracy running in the UK perhaps?

But seriously, which struggle are you talking about?

Is it the one to get the Labour party back into line with your outmoded beliefs?

No, but seriously, I've been reading your blogs for ages now, I'm convinced that you don't actually like Labour as it stands, but that you prefer the devil you know. After all they used to represent the simple class war politics that your particular style is most suited to. But what struggle are you talking about?

  14. You mean something worthwhile like a job, marriage, running a team and dealing with patronising New Liebour dickheads like yourself on a daily basis?

    ReplyDelete
  15. Amazing Terry cant even answer a question with out throwing in a barb at someone, you need serious help Terry!

    ReplyDelete
  16. anon - 'struggle' if you don't know by now what struggle I mean, you are either thick or you haven't been paying attention, probably both.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Terry I see that like most socialists when asked even a simple question you have to barb it with bile.

    What a wanker you are.

  18. you are either thick or you haven't been paying attention, probably both.

Nothing like a personal attack then?

    But seriously, what struggle?

What is it that's so difficult for you? Labour's been in power for 10 years now. You've had the Sun newspaper supporting you in 3 general elections. You personally have been on the council for ... how long? what's the problem?

    ReplyDelete
  19. fido - are you telling me you run some kind of team ? please tell me you're joking.

I hope you don't have any influence on youngsters, if you do, do you talk to them like this. That's another way of asking if the 'team' really know you.

  20. anon - was that a barb you just threw at me ?

    ReplyDelete
  21. anon - 'thick' OK if you're not thick and you have been paying attention why are you repeating all this ?

  22. 'thick' OK if you're not thick and you have been paying attention why are you repeating all this ?

But seriously, can't you work it out?

It's becaue you never actually address the points. There, nice a simple for you. So what struggle are you talking about?

    PS
Careful, there's at least 2 anynomous's on here, so don't be getting angry with me, I've never stooped to the language of self-abuse that the other one has...

  23. Terry you really do have a vicious attitude problem, the longer you carry on the more people get to see the real face of Liebour.

Do you assume that you can comment on people just from what they leave on your blog? You dont know them or anything about them.

Or is the ability to run a team just something that New Liebour can do? If based on the last ten years and illegal and immoral wars, tax rises etc they are not doing to damn well.

    ReplyDelete
  24. If you are the best the local councils have to offer then why bother voting?
Someone asks you a simple question re what will you do if you lose and you can not answer in a decent manner.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Was that comment about leading a team some sutle dig at that Fido chap, are you casting an inferance about him/her being a pedo Terry?

Or just being your normal arse of a self?

    ReplyDelete
  26. Terry cant even answer a simple question about what he will do if he loses with out resorting to petty snipes.

You are a sad man Terry kelly.

    ReplyDelete
  27. anon - 'fido' I wouldn't want 'fido' having any influence on anyone.

    ReplyDelete
  28. anon - if you read what I say more carefully you will see that I answer in kind.

If comments are made in a reasonable way then I will do the same.

    ReplyDelete
  29. anon - I don't believe that you don't understand the 'struggle'

    ReplyDelete
  30. I see that even nepotism could not save your daughter from the defeat you should all have met with.
I might vote labour if there was a labour party, I have not seen a labour party since wee Jock McConnel came to power under Broon the Scot who loves England.Get real Terry you are all on a slippery slope, why dont you take the package like your pal Manser your roads csar (ha ha ha)I cant wait for his trial. I will be in the front bench smirking at him, just as he did when asked about all the businesses that you and your lot destroyed in Paisley. What goes around very often comes around.

  31. I don't believe that you don't understand the 'struggle'

Well, I don't. Why won't you explain it? or can't you?

    ReplyDelete
  32. anon - 'nepotism' you are a sad cringing coward, crawl back under your stone.

    ReplyDelete
  33. anon - 'struggle' I still don't believe you.

  34. anon - 'struggle' I still don't believe you.

Well, why not pretend that you do believe me and give me a hint?

  35. anon - 'struggle' - find the bottle to ID yourself and I will give you a hint.

  36. anon - 'struggle' - find the bottle to ID yourself and I will give you a hint.

Oh, I see. It's a question of bottle, whether you'll decide to make any sense to someone or not.

Well, I'm not 'brave' enough to go through the rigarmarole of joining you and your blogging 'friends' in putting together a little persona for mud slinging, so I'll just have to soldier on with keeping a job, paying the mortgage and raising a family as best I can.... hey! wait a minute!!! Is that it?

  37. anon - 'struggle' I still don't believe you but I am curious as to why anyone would make an issue of something like this.
