SICK, FILTHY, RIGHT WING COWARDS !

I urge everyone who reads this blog to read all of the recent comments. I want you to know what the far right anonymous thugs are like. They certainly like to talk tough, have a look and see what you think of your fellow humans, some of this mob crawl out occasionally and shout abuse and then run off and hide under their stones. Steel yourself and read it, these people are real and could be living near you, what a thought !

70 comments:

  1. Care to tell us how you know the recent commenter (who clearly breaks your rules) is a far right winger?

  2. Terry, stop the quivering of the bottom lip.

Look its simple you run a site, no matter what you posted people will throw crap at it.

Now I am not into any of the many debates that have been going on here, but simple fact is as a local politico you will be opposed by people of opposing views.

Gonna happen be that left or right wing, if your not happy either disable comments, or suck it up an deal with it.

  3. Now now, lets just all have a nice cup of tea and debate nicely.

  4. In a reply to the fragrant Momentary Academic on the last thread, you siad you do not indulge in Ad Hominem.

This post, in its entirety is an Argumenum Ad Hominem.

Just in case you, as a semi-literate moron, do not understand the meaning of the term Ad Hominem, dictionary.com defines it Thus:

"Appealing to personal considerations rather than to logic or reason: Debaters
should avoid ad hominem arguments that question their opponents' motives."

    quod erat demonstrandum

  5. RFS - we know how clever you are, try being clearer.

  6. Anon - thank you for clearing that up, what's it got to do with you anyway ? I'm having fun and my lip isn't quivering and I'm dealing with it.

    ReplyDelete
  7. anon 'tea' ? tell us which anon you are first.

    ReplyDelete
  8. jackart - yes I know all that but what I siad was that I don't set out to do that, I do sometimes retaliate though.

I take your point though 'a semi-literate moron' might use that kind of language.

  9. OK, identify the individual that caused the most anguish before you wrote this piece and then identify elements of his/her comment or site that identifies them with the politics normally associated with the Far Right.

Extra points will be available if you can do all of this without reference to "ruling class" or "the war criminal Thatcher".

  10. Terry you seem to have a problem with people posting anon, well not everyone has a blog/bog profile or even wants one.

Besides what difference is it if they even use a false screen name or post anon? Or even if they use their correct name.

Besides I would take a good look at your own comments to some people that have posted here, to say that you are abrupt is an understatement.

As the other anon said maybe you do need a nice cup of tea old chap.

    Good lord!
That is an absolute pearler. I really hope you meant it to be as funny as it is!

  12. I asked your daughter this question a week ago and still no response. Maybe you can do better:

Labour's manifesto states you will introduce 2 new council tax bands below A and above H.

Renfrewshire Band A has 14,306 households.
Renfrewshire Band H has 200 households.

Can you explain how <200 households in Band "H+" will subsidise the x,000 in Band "A-"? And how the bands will be split up? I would appreciate your answer.

  13. anon - I just don't trust you or the others, I don't buy your reasons for being anon.

    ReplyDelete
  14. anon - I do have a problem with anonymity particularly when I'm abused in a way that wouldn't happen face to face.

    ReplyDelete
  15. RFS - You're hurting badly aren't you, and no wonder. Have you wrote to all those who have written about this in terms which make your reaction look stupid, or is it just me ?

    ReplyDelete
  16. So this would be you failing to cite a single example of these people that would mark their politics out as far right then?

    You are too easy Terry.

    ReplyDelete
  17. john mclean - most on the lower band are already exempt and for the rest the wealthy will pay more and the poor will pay less.

    It's rocket science.

    ReplyDelete
  18. RFS - desperate stuff, try admitting that you made a complete fool of yourself, go on, you'll feel better.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Same boring stuff from Terry here, people won't identify themselves blah blah blah.

So what? If someone has a point do you really need to know their details?

Or is that some Zanu New Labour paranoia coming in there...

  20. Terry your paranoid seek professional help now. Another thing you have not won a single debate in any thread yet you declare yourself the winner your like a violent drunk, swins wildly, misses get hit by opponent bloodied and bruised he threatens murder but no ones listening.

  22. Hmmmmmmmmm,

think on this Terry, shows a valid point. This is regards bulbs but covers your point quite well I feel,...
How many bloggers to change a bulb...

1 to change the light bulb and to post that the light bulb has been changed.
14 to share similar experiences of changing light bulbs and how the light bulb could have been changed differently.
7 to caution about the dangers of changing light bulbs.
6 to argue over whether it's "lightbulb" or "light bulb" ...
Another 6 to condemn those 6 as stupid.
2 industry professionals to inform the group that the proper term is "lamp".
15 know-it-alls who claim they were in the industry, and that "light bulb" is perfectly correct.
19 to post that this forum is not about light bulbs and to please take this discussion to a light bulb forum.
11 to defend the posting to this forum saying that we all use light bulbs and therefore the posts are relevant to this forum.
36 to debate which method of changing light bulbs is superior, where to buy the best light bulbs, what brand of light bulbs work best for this technique and what brands are faulty.
5 to post pics of their own light bulbs.
15 People to post "I can't see S$%^ photos!" and post photos of their own light bulbs.
7 to post URL's where one can see examples of different light bulbs.
4 to post that the URL's were posted incorrectly and then post the corrected URL's.
13 to link all posts to date, quote them in their entirety including all headers and signatures, and add "Me too".
5 to post to the group that they will no longer post because they cannot handle the light bulb controversy.
4 to say "didn't we go through this already a short time ago?"
13 to say "do a search on light bulbs before posting questions about light bulbs".
1 moderator to lock the light bulb thread.
2 to say that it was about time that the moderator locked the thread as light bulbs are obsolete anyway, they waste energy, and why weren't we discussing energy saving lamps in the first place?
The discussion repeats itself, this time with energy saving lamps as the subject.
Several daughter threads are started on whether or not there really is any energy savings with these new lamps if energy costs in production are taken into account; whether or not there really is an energy shortage; whether or not global warming is a natural or man-made phenomenon.
1 forum lurker to respond to the original post 6 months from now and start it all over again........

  23. I have come to all this a little late - I wouldn't normally post anonymously, but I am uneasy about the implications of some of Terry's replies. I confess I can't see any evidence of any "Sick Filthy Right Wing Cowards" but I may have missed something - perhaps a few examples could be cited. As far as I can see some people have tried to engage in reasonable debate to no avail since no response seems to relate to any points raised, and a few people have been mildly abusive - probably because they stuggle to see why they can't get a straight answer to anything.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Terry.

Another word you might consider: "Fisk"

After Robert Fisk (victim of, not an exponent of fisking)

It Means a line-by-line refutation of someones argument and it forms the a means of debate here in the blogophere. If you don't like what someone says, link, quote and destroy. All you are capable of it seems is pointing out that someone is "Right-Wing" whatever that means.

You can describe me as a barking right-wing nutter if you like, there's many who do, but at least have the decency to point out which views, or policies as described on my, or any other blog which you find so objectionable, then suggest an alternative.

    This process is called debate

Otherwise we continue to hound you because you are a bigotted little man, apparently incapable of rational debate who has unfortunately got himself a red rosette in a place where they would elect a haddock if it stood for the labour party.

You're unfit for office. We just feel it needs pointing out!

  26. Nice try, councillor.

How will Band A be split? There are over 14,000 in it now. How many 000s will stay in Band A and how many will split off? Ditto for Band H.

It's no use saying "the rich pay mair, the poor pay less, it's rocket science" What are the figures?

You are a COUNCILlor. This is about COUNCIL tax. It's a straight-forward question that should have a straight-forward answer.

    ReplyDelete
  27. "I take your point though 'a semi-literate moron' might use that kind of language."

    Indeed. And often does.

"Have you wrote (sic) to all those .......?"

    Semi-literate, eh?

"anon - I do have a problem with anonymity particularly when I'm abused in a way that wouldn't happen face to face."

Here's your chance Terry. Fancy a coffee? I'm quite happy to abuse you to your face. I am of course aware of your reputation as heavyweight champ of the council chambers.

Just for your information, Terry, and I'm sure RFS can confirm this, my politics are firmly rotted in liberalism. I don't mean the politics of the LDP, which has had its nose firmly ensconced between the buttocks of Scottish Labour ever since the advent of devolution. I mean liberal in the sense of broad-mindedness, of those who seek reform for the betterment of mankind. I know RFS and he's pretty conservative in his views, I'll grant you. However, the glaring difference between him and you is his willingness to enter debate. I don't your version of debate. I mean debate. You know, where one person puts forward a premise, using a series of argument to make a point, followed by the other making a counter argument in a similar fashion. Not, as you seem to think, by blurting out a stream of mind numbing, numb-minded rhetoric taken straight from the Little Red Book. Alson, no by simply stating that something is true, in the fashion of this latest paranoid diatribe.

Terry, I don't know quite how to tell you this. We are out to get you. I and others are sick of this mindless politicking, constantly harping on about this councillor or that, this poster or that, simply because they disagree with you. I do sometimes feel that it's all a bit too easy, but then I console myself with the thought that I am helping to expose the farrago that is New Labour, hopefully bringing about its demise sooner. Please never stop. This feels too good.

  31. Councillor, isn't being the last person outside the Castro family not to recognise him for the murderous thug he is "a bit biased?"

"Sick," "filthy" and "cowards" are not exactly the most restrained epithets either.

Of course, while we think you are talking rubbish, we would (unlike your comrades) fight to the death for your right to do so. Please be as biased as you like.

Don't bother to thank us. It's no hardship as we genuinely enjoy this site.

It is the funniest place on the internet. Your use of our language is so inept and your capacity for ratiocination so limited, it's like watching someone try to knock a nail in a wall with blancmange.

Have you considered videoblogging? Or even podcasting? We would love to hear what you sound like as well.

    ReplyDelete
  32. tom paine - I really feel quite humble that someone who uses words like ratiocination would take the time to write to me.

  38. anon - 'light bulbs' I think there's a certain logic in what you say.

I wonder if any of my 'regulars' can see themselves in this ?

    ReplyDelete
  39. re lightbulbs - that was actually aimed at good self Terry - and this has sunk to the usual morass of defensive comments from Terry.

At which having not answered any questions Terry will claim he has won, has the moral high ground and is right in all he says and does.

All bow down you unworthy plebs and kiss the mighty Kerry etc,

    ReplyDelete
  40. Yes, Terry this is debate.

I think you are a moron - and I have fisked you in great detail on my Blog. You have not responded.

I point out some of your more absurd ideas here and you throw back abuse. So it is you who are unwilling to debate.

Your use of "Right wing" as an insult just goes to show how parochial, and narrow minded politics in Scotland has become. There is a reasonable range of political opinion running from telegraph to guardian.

You're out on the Socialist Worker / Daily Mirror end of the spectrum, into half learned, outdated political theory which has been thoroughly discredited in 90 years of practice. Yet you still think socialism has a place.

I'd be happy for you to present some ideas, so that I can demolish them. Mine are on my blog if you want to kick off a debate, rather than simply flinging insults.

    Over to you.

Oh and this Blog would be much more fun if you switched off comment moderation. You can delete any you don't like.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Terry, may I just ask, do you know how to do hyperlinks on here? If not then I would be pleased to explain how.

That way, when you quote someone's comments you can link to a place on the internet where we can read them in context.

Is there some reason why you do not back up your 'quotes' by linking to them? Could it be that you make them up?

    ReplyDelete
  42. John McLean,
The answer Terry is scuttling from like a clockwork crab is that he hasn't a clue about council tax and can't be bothered thinking about it. It's party policy and that's as deep as it goes.

The man is an idiot don't waste your time on him.

  53. Change of topic but it might rescue this thread.

Do you have any thoughts about the new voting system for the council elections? Will it, in your view, change the make up of councils much, more single issue/independent councillors or do you expect business as usual?

    ReplyDelete
  54. You might know more people with a decent vocabulary if your party hadn't trashed the country's education system.

It's a tragedy. Part of your cultural heritage is a language which is the largest the world has ever known. It has more than twice as many words to choose from as the next largest, German.

But you are PROUD to swim about in a stagnant pool of a few words. You and your mates think it's funny that anyone does anything else. I know who I would rather be, Terry. I suspect that, at some level, so do you.

You have stood out from the crowd by starting this blog. In fairness to you, you are trying to use the language despite mockery from people like me (I am ready to stop if you show any signs of wishing to improve).

You have taken the most difficult step. Don't let your ned mates stop you taking the next one. Try the link below. I am not being sarcastic, really. It's never too late to learn.

    ReplyDelete
  55. tom paine - I think that you use language like that to impress, because you are really insecure.

    ReplyDelete
  56. I am not surprised you write something like that. Ad hominem is, after all, what you do. It is easier than making an unaccustomed effort to think about the points made to you - none of which (as usual) you have addressed.

For example, as you have not disputed it, can I take it you accept your party has trashed the education system? Can I assume that you don't care because only insecure people would want a richer vocabulary?

I tried to put a positive spin on your flounderings here and all you come out with is personal remarks. What are you trying to achieve, Terry?

Can't you see you are such a laughing stock that the first reaction of most visitors is that you cannot be real; that this must be a right wing propaganda site designed to make Labour look stupid?

    ReplyDelete
  57. ...the deluge of coverage on radio, TV and newspapers about the hostages which were broadly in line with mine?

Broadly in line? So you were not actually quoting verbatim, but rather you were paraphrasing and including your own 'colour commentary' to add the required slant? Great. Thanks for clearing that up.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Tom paine - no amount of big words can hide the fact that you are insecure and not quite as clever as you like to think, really clever people don't feel the need to use language like yours.

I assume that your second para. is rhetorical.

Is calling me a laughing stock along with other things you've said 'Ad hominem' ?

Stop making a show of yourself, it's pathetic.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Tony - Why are you avoiding the issue, stop wriggling, you got it wrong.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Jim Lewis - Comparisons are odious but I understand that Canada has a similar level of gun ownership with hardly any killings, begging the question why the USA ?

I agree that the Constitution is being abused and also that the democrats would run away from a ban, people wrongly equate the Democrats with Labour, it's not quite that simple.

Everyone still skirts around the power, through billions of profit that drives the whole dreadful situation.

    ReplyDelete
  61. "Everyone still skirts around the power, through billions of profit that drives the whole dreadful situation."

I don't. I don't think most sensible commentators do. However, and this is crucial to understanding the American psyche, profit is not what drives gun owners to want guns. There's no profit in it for the owners. They deeply believe, and are supported by their own view of history, that property is to be protected at all costs. They also believe it is their constitutional right to own guns, and that to oppose that right is un-American and unconstitutional. They believe, with some justification, that guns are required to protect themselves, their families and their property from likely armed criminals. The whole point that having more guns in circulation means more guns for the good guys and bad guys alike, is not lots on them, but rather takes second place to their perceived constitutional rights.

What I'm really saying is that in your rush to make yet another weak left wing point (that free gun ownership is irrevocably tied to capitalism)you miss the real issue completely.

    ReplyDelete
  62. Cllr Kelly, Jackart is wrong to call you a moron, because the comparison is an insult to morons.

I also find your false anger most amusing!

    ReplyDelete
  63. Jim Lewis - 'The gun profits' I agree that people don't own guns for profit, I didn't say that, I said that the gun industry is driven by profit. All that stuff about the constitution and being un American is what they are fed by the people who are making millions, that's why they call it the 'American way'

Saying that the situation in America re. guns is out of control is not a weak left wing argument it's a fact.
